Vance Archer Vows to Return to WWE

On November 19th, Hoyt was released from his WWE contract alongside Luke Gallows, Tiffany, Caylen Croft, Jillian Hall, and Shad Gaspard of Cryme Tyme.

"For me it was a budgetary decision that was what was told to me," explained Hoyt. "I was obviously disappointed and felt WWE was making a mistake.

"They dropped the ball by releasing me; I only regret not pushing the right people harder for more.

"I am looking to hone my craft on the indy scene; [independent shows] can be a lot of fun. It hasn't been that hard to get back into taking bookings because I know a lot of people from my time before WWE and have re-kindled those relationships.

"I am just trying to do as many good and big things as possible [on the indy scene] to keep people thinking about me until I can return to a big time promotion."...More?

Vance Archer Comments On His WWE Release

Recently released WWE talent Lance Hoyt (Vance Archer) was interviewed yesterday by The 7x Wrestling Show:

On his release from WWE: "The reason given to me was budget reasons. I understand that life, the economy, everything around us has kinda gone to crap it seems like. It's hard for anybody and everybody, including big businesses, to make money, keep money, and keep moving forward themselves. So, I understand the business aspect of it. Do I think it was a good business decision? Absolutely not. It caught me off guard."

On teaming with Curt Hawkins: "Curt's an amazing talent. I think if given the opportunity he's gonna be somebody that can succeed. We were kinda thrown together as a tag team. He hadn't be on television or even on the road for a year or something like that and he calls me up one night and he's like, 'Hey man, remember that idea I pitched a year ago? Well, it's happening. Were gonna be a tag team.'"...More?

ECW Results: Dominant Farewell

The WWE Universe bid an emotional, historic farewell to ECW on Syfy from the Sprint Center Arena Tuesday night. But as WWE closes the door on the Land of the Extreme, we’ll soon say hello to the new evolution of reality television with the debut of WWE NXT.

It took Ezekiel Jackson months, but The Guyanese Goliath and his mentor, William Regal, finally accomplished what they set out to achieve on ECW on Syfy – total domination. In the final ECW match, Big Zeke conquered ECW Champion Christian under Extreme Rules, becoming the last Superstar to ever hold the ECW Title. Full results.

TNA News

TNA wanted 2 Cold Scorpio to play the role of Rasheed Lucius Consequences Creed as a new member for 'Team Pacman'. No word on why it didn't go down but that's definitely who they wanted. Styles and Tomko won the tag titles anyways so that's the route they are going. No more 'Pacman'.

There will be at tournament on iMPACT! based on eliminations from the battle royal at Bound for Glory. It was setup so it would be Young vs. James Storm, Junior Fatu vs. Roode, Chris Sabin vs. Alex Shelley, and Frankie Kazarian vs. Lance Hoyt.

Before the TNA Bound for Glory PPV The Motor City Machineguns of Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin d. Joey Matthews (Joey Mercury) & Johnny Swinger (Johnny Parisi).

Kevin Nash is going to be wrestling in TNA at the next PPV - Genesis. Yay. This also means TNA offered him more money to stick around.

The Amazing Kong is now known as Awesome Kong.

Look for Matt Morgan vs. Tomko, possibly at the iMPACT! tapings this week and Sting vs. Kevin Nash at TNA Genesis.
