Raw Results: Ready, Willing and Table

Jerry “The King” Lawler wasn’t in the mood. After Michael Cole interfered in his match last week against WWE Champion The Miz – and likely cost him the title – Lawler sat impatiently through an apology from his announce partner. Before “The King” could let his fists do the talking, though, the anonymous Raw General Manager informed the two that if either of them got physical, they would be fired. Not only that, the two were forced to shake hands in the ring – and were then joined by a surprise guest.

Randy Orton used the occasion to send a message to The Miz: He vowed that he would reclaim his title. The WWE Champion informed The Viper, however, that, according to the Raw GM, he is not required to defend his title for another two weeks at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs. Miz’s assistant, Alex Riley, on the other hand, was fair game. The “Cleveland Screamer’s” associate challenged Orton to a match, which The Viper readily accepted despite nursing a knee injury he suffered on the night he lost he title to Miz. To prove that, regardless of his knee, he can still punish opponents, Orton leveled Cole with a crushing RKO. Full results.

New U.S. Champion

During the no disqualification, no count-out bout for the United States Title, it seemed as if half of Canada had charged the ring. Before beloved Canadian Bret Hart battled The Miz, the U.S. Champion employed enforcers William Regal and Vladimir Kozlov to watch the ring. To combat the duo, Unified Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty fought them off. During the melee, Chris Jericho and Miz entered the ring and surrounded The “Hit Man.” The Hart family, however, had the back of one of their own.

When Miz attempted to lock the Sharpshooter onto Hart, The Hart Dynasty leveled the loudmouth, allowing The “Hit Man” to lock in his signature maneuver himself for the win and championship gold.

What Happened After Raw Went Off the Air in NJ

After Raw goes off air, Triple H gets on the mic and blames The Undertaker for retiring Shawn Michaels. Triple H called out Undertaker. A referee was in the ring and a match appeared to be kicking off. Triple H tells Undertaker they are the "last two" of a dying breed and there is only room for one. The heels make a run-in including CM Punk, Luke Gallows, Chris Jericho, Jack Swagger, Zack Ryder, Carlito, Kozlov and Dolph Ziggler. Undertaker and Triple H fight them off. Triple H gives the referee a Pedigree and then walks into a Tombstone. The show ends with Undertaker posing.

Santino Sitcom

In an article posted on AOL Television’s Web site, WWE Superstar Santino Marella reveals that WWE is working on developing their own sitcom starring none other than Santino himself. Regarding the situation, the Italian Superstar said that he would be “the next one to cross over, the next Hollywood star.”

With filming starting in the next few weeks, the plan is that Santino will star in the sitcom alongside WWE Diva Beth Phoenix and WWE Superstar Vladimir Kozlov, playing his girlfriend and best friend respectively.

As it stands now, plans are that the show will originally air on WWE.com, and then if all goes well, it will find a home on a network. To read more on this developing story, click here.

Raw/ECW House Show Results - Long Island, NY

Our two main events were supposed to be Shawn Michaels vs. Koslov and Cena/Triple H vs. Orton/Jericho, but the show seemed to be running late so they decided to combine the two.

Cena comes out to a big pop. Triple H's music hits but he doesn't come out. Orton gets on the mic and says the rest of Legacy couldn't be here tonight because they were taking care of some business. That business being Triple H, who would not be there tonight. He offered HBK and Cena the chance to run off to the back and give up, but instead they charged the ring and the match began.

John Cena & Shawn Michaels beat Chris Jericho & Randy Orton & Kozlov. Pretty standard stuff with all the guys running through their moves. fter a ref bump, all hell breaks out for a second and it all ends with Orton RKO'ing HBK and lining up for the punt. Triple H's music hits right before Orton goes in for the punt. He comes out and tackles Orton and starts punching him. He throws Orton around a little and then goes to the outside to get his sledgehammer. Crowd is now going nuts.

He gets in the ring and Orton backs into the corner pleading with Triple H not to him. Koslov comes in and interferes, taking Triple H to the outside. Orton runs off. Inside the ring, HBK is recovering from the RKO and in comes Jericho with a chair, slamming it against the mat waiting for Michaels to get up.

Behind him, Triple H has returned to the ring with the sledgehammer. He just stands behind Jericho staring him down. Michaels gets up but Jericho has realized what's going on behind him. Turns around to Hunter, then when he turns back to HBK, he's met with Sweet Chin Music. Cena comes back in and gives him the "Attitude Adjuster" as the ref wakes up for the three count. The three of them pose for a while and shake hands to send the crowd home happy.

Mark Henry and Vladimir Koslov Make Two of the Best Look Bad

Match reviews from iFight365.com:

...The Undertaker beats Mark Henry to qualify for the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out in a terribly slow and plodding match, winning with the Devils Triangle. Taker tried, but Henry is just so lumbering and immobile that it’s really tough even for Taker to get a good match out of him...

...The final Elimination Chamber qualifier was an early contender for Worst Match Of The Year, as Triple H won a triple threat match over Vladimir Kozlov and The Great Khali. Just like their interaction in the Royal Rumble, when Kozlov and Khali were going at it was the kind of action that makes you cringe. Just embarrassingly slow clunky and uncoordinated. HHH, as good as he can be, has never been a guy who can get excellent matches from mediocre opponents and tends to wrestle at the level of the people he’s in the ring with. For all that, I quite liked the finish, as Khali has HHH in the Vice Grip, so Kozlov goes for the running headbutt to the chest, but HHH escaped so Kozlov headbutted Khali. Then Kozlov charged at HHH who avoided him and sent Kozlov crashing to the outside, and the worst pedigree you’ve ever seen won the match for HHH...

I don't agree that Triple H wrestles at the level of his mediocre opponents. I think you can only make someone with no talent look so good. Even The Undertaker and Triple H cannot make these two look good. Hopefully after No Way Out, they will find another program for Triple H. He is wasting his time trying to get a good match out of Kozlov.

J.R. Comments on Jeff Hardy, Vladimir Koslov and Jack Swagger

On Jeff Hardy:

"One can tell how far up the ladder Jeff Hardy has advanced by how well he pairs up with perennial main eventers HHH. These two have developed a really solid chemistry in the ring and I am one that thinks their matches and physical interaction has helped both men. Whereas at one time perhaps Jeff was "almost": there it seems to me that Jeff is a solid, main eventer who is WWE Title worthy and was apparently a HUGE hit on the Tribute to the Troops tour with the soldiers."

On Vladimir Koslov:

"Reports indicate that Vladimir Kozlov is rapidly improving with his work at WWE live events. Yes, there is still work to be done with this athlete but he is making positive strides which is what one looks for."

On Jack Swagger:

"Jack Swagger is also getting good, road reviews and is so athletically gifted that when he finally "gets it" Swagger is going to be a welcome addition to Monday or Friday's roster in my view. No program can teach athleticism and natural timing and Swagger has them both."

Triple H defeated by Edge for the WWE Championship

Out of nowhere Triple H hits a Pedigree on Kozlov in a counter. Both men are down in the ring as the referee starts the ten count. Vickie Guerrero says that this will be a triple-threat match and says he's here... he's here... he is... Edge!!! Here comes the Rated R Superstar to the ring.

Edge gets in the ring with his new beard and spears the WWE Champion. The crowd is popping for the return but they come unglued when Jeff Hardy comes out.

Jeff Hardy ran out with a small bandage on the back of his head/neck and broke up the pin attempt. Hardy swung a chair at Edge, who moved, causing Hardy to hit Hunter. Hardy struck Kozlov with a chair. Hardy wound up to hit Edge with a chair, but Edge speared him first. Edge covered Hunter and scored the pin to win the title.

Triple Threat Match at Survivor Series

Jeff Hardy reigned supreme over WWE Champion Triple H in a non-title match thanks in part to a distraction by Vladimir Kozlov. After Hardy hurled himself out of the ring and onto Kozlov, The Game attempted to suplex him back in. However, the Charismatic Enigma quickly countered and rolled the champion up for the important victory. After the match, the Moscow Mauler attacked – leaving both Superstars writhing in pain at his feet. As a result of his win, Hardy has earned himself the opportunity to join the WWE Championship Match at Survivor Series, making it a Triple Threat Match.
