Dr. Phil C. Astin III, who was the Benoit family physician at the time of the Benoit double murder/suicide, will be sentenced on Tuesday. Astin plead guilty to a 175-count indictment of illegally distributing prescription drugs from May 2002 until July 2007. He is facing a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1 million on each count.
