WWE Spokesman Says TV Product is Not Violent in Response to More WWE & Linda McMahon Criticism

WWE spokesman Brian Flinn responded to the latest round of criticism aimed at WWE during Linda McMahon's Connecticut Senate campaign by saying WWE's TV product is not violent in the eyes of their viewers. Flinn was responding to Linda's chief opponent, Chris Shays, saying McMahon benefited from violence and brutality as CEO of WWE.

Flinn's statement reads: "WWE's 13 million weekly TV viewers and our 100 million social media followers would disagree that WWE's content is violent. WWE programming is TV-PG and family friendly, with women making up nearly 40 percent of our audience.
