Brian Jack’s Lawsuit Against WWE Dismissed
In regard to the lawsuit that independent wrestler Brian Jack filed against WWE, several of its executives and others claiming all sorts of allegations a few weeks ago, it was actually dismissed earlier today.
In a ruling issued late this afternoon, William C. Griesbach, Chief Judge of the United States District Court, Eastern District of Wisconsin ruled that the lawsuit was to be dismissed for lack of jurisdiction and that "Brian Patrick Jack takes nothing."
As I noted on my Elite audio hotline earlier today, Jack was injured while working in FCW trying to earn himself a developmental contract. Sources today indicate that he had been close with WWE star Santino Marella and FCW owner Steve Keirn and those relations had gone South after his claims that WWE should pay for his injuries, despite the fact he wasn't a signed WWE contract.
Jack tried to portray in his lawsuit that WWE had "sent" him to Tampa when he was injured, but he had in fact gone there of his own accord.
