It’s been a while since WWE successfully built someone to the level of Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock. John Cena won his first WWE Title from John Bradshaw Layfield at WrestleMania 20 back in 2004, thusly propelling the then 26 year old Bay Stater to the highest possible level. Cena is undisputedly the number one sports entertainer in WWE: he’s sells the most merchandise, he elicits the largest crowd reactions (regardless if it’s the “right” reaction) and does more promotion for the company than anyone else. But what’s an all conquering hero without an equally adept villainous desperado? Cena’s been at a table of one for a while now with no equal to face inside the squared circle. With the 25th anniversary of WrestleMania looming, one man is ready to step up to Cena’s level...Step forward Randall Keith Orton. I don’t know whether you’ve cottoned onto it, but Randy Orton is being pushed harder than anyone in years at the moment...More?
