Q&A with R-Truth
Professional wrestlers signed with global juggernaut World Wrestling Entertainment endure a busy travel schedule that comes with competing for the top promotion in the world. On his off day, WWE Superstar R-Truth, the 6’2,” 220-lb. Charlotte, North Carolina native, is doing something with a lot less risk than diving over the top ropes onto an opponent outside the ring. “I’m picking my daughter up from school,” he says, proudly. “The days I’m at home, I get a pleasure out of picking [my kids] up from school. My son is 11, and I walk him to the school bus, still.”
Born Ron Killings, the popular professional wrestler can be seen every week on USA Network’s Monday Night RAW, picking up opponents before slamming them to the canvas. Granted, this is not the only surface where Truth makes an impact. Outside the squared circle he is an accomplished hip-hop recording artist, producer and dancer. Fine footwork on both fronts has helped the agile competitor achieve success in both areas.
R-Truth took a moment out his day for this exclusive interview with SoulTrain.com.

Road Dogg Comments On R-Truth
"If you ask me, the WWE is about ten years too late. They had this guy ten or twelve years ago. I actually kind of recruited him to be my tag team partner cause Billy (Gunn) had just blown his shoulder out and was gonna have surgery and he was gonna be out for a year. I saw Ron Killings perform in Memphis when I was on break from WWF at the time and I saw him perform and I just thought ‘Man, this guy is great’. I saw something in him…and the next thing I know, we were tagging together."
"I know they switched it up a little bit and turned him heel and it’s working for him man, so I say you work it girl….he’s doing great. I don’t follow the show as closely as I probably should, but I do turn over when I hear my brothers reffing or Ronnie Killings is on. I love to watch him work, he’s a great athlete, he looks great, he’s a great guy and I love him. Nothing but love for Ronnie Killings."

Rumor Mill - Ron Killings
WWE will probably have to edit R-Truth's debut on SmackDown this week because of "TNA" and "We Want Angle" chants during the match which really didn't get much other reaction from the crowd. Truth ended up selling a lot of Kenny Dykstra's moves and Vince McMahon got pissed off because he wanted Killings to look like a top star and sell nothing for Dykstra. Mis-communication backstage had the agents tell Killings to work a standard babyface match, sell big and then do a comeback for the win.
