Various sources have said that Vince was pleased with Monday's broadcast. He essentially dictated the direction of the show to the creative team.

Triple H and Shawn Michaels have been credited by some colleagues for weeding out some of the campy comedy that Vince and his writers favor during the production meetings. Hunter has been at the recent Raw shows, but one observer noted that Hunter isn't as emotionally attached to the product when he's not wrestling. In other words, he might be saving his objections for when he returns to television.
