Vince McMahon And Triple H Take Major Fire In New Animated Series

The Good Brothers have a lot of irons in the fire right now. They are getting their own comedy variety special on AXS TV, and an animated series also seems to be in development. The Gimmicks is coming, but we haven’t been told much about it yet. We do know Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows and more will be a part of the show. The trailer for the new series also took some major shots at Vince McMahon and Triple H. This trailer not only features Triple H seeming like a sniveling kiss-up to McMahon, but he also plays the role of a literal footstool. Vince McMahon was furious about a bunch of “losers” and “nobodies” trying to do their own thing as well.

NZO is also a part of The Gimmicks. His character is named “Esteban Apples” which keeps his “EA” initials. It seems like The Gimmicks is going to take some serious shots at the pro wrestling business and Vince McMahon is not excluded. If this trailer is any indication of things The Gimmicks will make the shots that Being The Elite takes at WWE look like nothing. You really need to see this for yourself.

Triple H On Enzo Amore And Big Cass Coming Back To WWE NXT: "Absolutely Zero Interest."

Earlier this week a report came out that Enzo Amore and Big Cass were in talks with WWEofficials to make a return to the NXT brand. Enzo was released from the company in January of 2018, Cass in June of 2018.

That same day, WWE reached out to the media to say the story had no basis, and they had no discussions with the two former WWE Superstars. After all of this came to light, Cass commented on Twitter, "Idiots [laughing emoji]."

Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT recently wrapped up 30-minute sit down interview with Triple H, and tweeted out his comments about the Enzo/Cass situation.

"I immediately told our PR to shoot down the Enzo and Cass rumors," Triple H said. "Absolutely zero interest. Congratulations to Enzo, I'm sure spreading rumors is working well for him but I want no part of it."

No Charges To Be Filed Against Enzo Amore

Former WWE Superstar Enzo Amore (Eric Arndt) revealed on Twitter today that the investigation into sexual assault allegations has been closed and no charges were filed.

Enzo, while WWE Cruiserweight Champion, was accused back in January by a woman named Philomena Sheahan in Phoenix, Arizona, who claimed the assault took place several months before. This led to a police investigation and WWE releasing Enzo on January 23rd. There's no word yet on how WWE will react to the latest developments or if they might bring Enzo back in the future. The letter noted that Enzo was not aware of the accusations beforehand until Sheahan's tirade on Twitter.

It was also noted in the letter Enzo tweeted that he has plans for a new venture in the entertainment industry but there's no word yet on if he plans on returning to the ring for any wrestling promotion.

Below is the full letter from Enzo's attorney, Tom Cargill, which was tweeted out this afternoon by Enzo:

On January 22, 2018, Eric Arndt (also known as Enzo Amore for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)) was accused, via the internet and social media, of misconduct during an alleged incident in Phoenix, Arizona several months earlier. Prior to that date, no law enforcement or any other officials had contacted Mr. Arndt regarding such claims. However, after the careless, unfounded tirade on social media, Mr. Arndt learned of these accusations when his counsel reached out to Phoenix Police. Subsequently, and as evidenced by the vast amount of online admissions and other publicly available information, it was soon clear that the accuser exhibited a complete lack of truth or credibility. At all times, Mr. Arndt fully and unequivocally denied such accusations and remained confident in clearing his name.

The Phoenix Police Department recently informed Mr. Arndt and his counsel that there is insufficient evidence in this matter to warrant any criminal charges, that the matter will not be transferred to the County Attorney for prosecution, and that their investigation and case is closed. No charges were ever filed. The matter is closed.

Mr. Arndt expresses his gratitude for the enormous amount of support from his fans and followers during this time period. The support has carried him through these events and opened his eyes to the faith and loyalty of those who have cheered and followed his career. This experience has further taught Mr. Arndt to be cautious with his personal associations, because false, defamatory, and unfounded accusations can alter and impact the lives and careers of the falsely accused and their families. Mr. Arndt is working diligently toward his next venture in the entertainment industry and looks forward to reconnecting with his fans in a big way in the very near future.

*** Tom Cargill, P.A., is Mr. Arndt's personal general counsel. Osborn Maledon, P.A., served as Mr. Arndt's defense counsel in Phoenix, AZ, regarding the alleged incident and accusations.

Enzo Amore Issues Statement On Rape Allegations Through Attorney

Enzo Amore took to Twitter this evening and issued a statement from his lawyers in response to the rape allegations from Philomena Sheahan, who has accused Enzo of raping her in October 2017. The accusations have led to WWE firing Enzo and an investigation by the Phoenix Police, which has been open since October of last year.

Sheahan went public with TMZ earlier today with details on the alleged incident. You can find that story and video at this link.

Below is the statement from Enzo's lawyer, Timothy J. Eckstein of Osborn Maledon in Phoenix:

STATEMENT FROM COUNSEL FOR ERIC ARNDT

Over the last two days, Philomena Sheahan has made multiple public accusations against Eric Arndt (also known as Enzo Amore with the WWE), including allegations of sexual misconduct concerning an October 2017 incident in Phoenix. Mr. Arndt fully and unequivocally denies those accusations. He is cooperating with the authorities in this matter and looks forward to having it resolved in a timely manner. Neither Mr. Arndt nor his counsel will be making any further public comments on this matter.

WWE Releases Enzo Amore

From WWE.COM:

Enzo Amore released

WWE has come to terms on the release of Eric Arndt (Enzo Amore).

The release comes after Enzo was accused of rape earlier this week. WWE suspended him on Monday, noting that they have zero tolerance for matters involving sexual harassment or sexual assault. Things must have changed between that announcement and today as he has been released.

Enzo Amore Suspended By WWE After Recent Sexual Assault Allegations

Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting WWE has suspended Enzo Amore amidst new allegations that he allegedly raped a woman last October.

According to Twitter user @missgucciwitch, Enzo (Eric Arndt) raped her in a Phoenix area hotel room last October, posting the following text and screenshots:

The original question TOOPOOR asked me was if I would suck Enzo’s dick. I said possibly but if I wasn’t down she said we could all just hang out. Then they got me way fucked up & they left knowing what was about to happen. When Enzo the WWE guy stared coming on to me I was passed out on the couch. I said “I want to get to know you first before doing anything.” He replied, “Bitch I have 1million followers on instagram…you should be begging for this dick.” & then he restrained me & it happened. I never would be this dramatic about something like this but I want you all to know that I would’ve left if I could. I was in psychosis- I had no idea what was going on. I remember bits &pieces & I have constant flashbacks..My mental issues have been the worst ever & i suffer from major PTSD from it.

According to the report, a Phoenix Police Department representative confirmed a report was filed, and the incident remains under investigation, but police are waiting on lab results.

Pro Wrestling Sheet noted one source claimed the incident allegedly took place on October 19th, which would seem to line up with the date included in the accuser’s screenshots. Enzo’s Instagram posts also confirmed he was in the area, attending a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert at the Talking Stick Arena in Phoenix.

When asked about the accusations, WWE also issued the following statement to Wrestlezone:

“WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving sexual harassment or sexual assault. Until this matter is resolved, Eric Arndt (aka Enzo Amore) has been suspended.

Rumor Mill - Baron Corbin’s WWE Push Stalling, NXT Takeover Crowd Picks Up on Reports of Corbin’s Backstage Heat, News on Enzo Following SSlam

Speculation has been that Baron Corbin’s current WWE push has stalled due to backstage heat on him for a number of reasons, the main reason being recent behavior on social media.

It appears as if the NXT Takeover Brooklyn crowd picked up on the reports of Corbin having heat, as they directed a “you f**ed up” chant at The Lone Wolf when he appeared in front of the live crowd.

On the most recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer confirmed Corbin definitely has backstage heat on him, and that was made clear by the way he was booked in a “basic” opening match against John Cena at SummerSlam. Meltzer added that WWE officials are very high on former NXT Champion Bobby Roode, and it’s possible WWE might be called up to Smackdown Live to replace Corbin’s spot/push.

News on Enzo Following SummerSlam

In related news, for reasons not yet known, Enzo Amore’s backstage heat seems to have worsened, as Meltzer noted “everybody” in WWE hates him. Meltzer added the fact that the crowd is staring to cool on Enzo is bad news for the Raw star, as that was one of the few things saving his spot in the company.

RAW GM's Announce Plans To Crown New WWE Universal Champion

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The Demon King has abdicated the throne.

Less than 24 hours after defeating Seth Rollins to become the first-ever WWE Universal Champion, Finn Bálor was forced to relinquish the title to Raw GM Mick Foley and Commissioner Stephanie McMahon, having suffered a right shoulder injury at The Architect’s hands during their historic clash. Unforuntately, Bálor’s hope for a clean exit was cut short by Seth Rollins, who wasted no time in attempting to cobble together a case for himself to inherit the now-vacant championship.

The Architect certainly had company in that regard. Sami Zayn, Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens were quick to name themselves as worthy of a title opportunity, as did Roman Reigns and, surprisingly, Enzo Amore & Big Cass. Foley provided the solution, sanctioning four qualifying bouts for a Fatal 4-Way next week to determine a new Universal Championship.

Enzo Amore on coming back from a concussion and fulfilling a dream at SummerSlam

Enzo Amore and his tag team partner Big Cass have become arguably the biggest breakout stars in WWE this year. Since the very first night Enzo and Cass debuted on the main roster, the night after WrestleMania 32, their entrances and in-ring promos have consitently gotten some of the biggest pops of the night, and the team even temporarily joined forces with 15-time champion John Cena prior to the brand extension. Now on Raw, Enzo and Cass are headed toward a showdown with Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho at SummerSlam August 21st. Enzo Amore spoke with Fox Sports ahead of WWE's second-biggest event of the year to talk about his journey to the main roster, getting his big break from Triple H, and the concussion that knocked him out of action at WWE Payback.

Fox Sports: Let's go back to your debut in April. Coming up from NXT, were you expecting the type of reaction you got from the Raw crowd with everybody knowing the words to your entrance bit?

Enzo Amore: You know, there was probably a ton of people there - including Vince McMahon - that would have never expected that kind of reaction. But going into it, you know, Triple H gave us the opportunity of a lifetime and I don't think anybody ever realized that when the WWE Network came out and NXT was on the Network it became a brand. And it was the third brand of our company.

The opportunity we got there was to perform in front of crowds by the thousands in the U.K. [at NXT TakeOver: London], and the majority of the crowd that night after WrestleMania for Monday Night Raw in Dallas was a U.K. crowd, a crossover crowd. People who are enthusiasts of WWE and they knew what WWE NXT was.

I kinda looked at Hunter when my music hit from across Gorilla, I saw him right before I went out of the curtain ... and it was organic, it was real. I could have never imagined that kind of reaction in a million years, but at the same time I had an inkling that 'hey wait, these are the same fans that I just performed in front of in Europe three months ago."

FS: Speaking of Triple H, I know you have an interesting story about how you got your big break with WWE in the first place?

WWE Payback match stopped as Enzo Amore suffers concussion

Just minutes into the start of WWE Payback, the opening match of the company's May pay-per-view was stopped in its tracks as one of the its newest but most popular performers was injured in the ring.

In the middle of a No. 1 Contenders' Match for the Tag Team Championship, Enzo Amore was thrown out of the ring only to have his head strike the middle rope, snapping his neck backwards. Amore immediately went to the ground and stayed down under the ring apron. WWE quickly cut away from the injured performer to the announcers but showed multiple replays of the move that led to Amore's injury.

Shortly after the match was stopped, WWE lead play-by-play man Michael Cole told the viewing audience that Amore was on his way to the hospital to be treated for an undisclosed injury. The wrestler was able to move his extremities and speak to medical personnel on his way, which is some early good news.

Amore and tag team partner Colin Cassady were competing against The Vaudevillains in the match, which obviously ended without a result.

Before the main event of Payback began, Cole disclosed that Amore, while at the hospital, was diagnosed with a concussion. All other tests came back negative.

Carmella Reveals Her Future With WWE Following Enzo Amore And Colin Cassady's Move To Main Roster

WWE NXT Diva Carmella has conducted an interview with WWE.com, in which she has revealed that she will not be a part of the main roster move of Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady. She has stated that instead, she will look to pursue a singles career in NXT and also wants to become the NXT Women's Champion.

"My entire NXT career has been alongside Cass & Enzo. Of course, it would have been nice to be out there and relish in the moment of their debut on the night after WrestleMania with them. But, I’m here to be a Superstar and an in-ring performer. I’ve been training for over two years in the ring now. A lot of the fans don’t necessarily get to see what I can do, because they’ve seen me as the hype girl for Cass & Enzo. I’m here to compete at a higher level. I want to be NXT Women’s Champion. Unfortunately, I can’t do everything. I can’t be with them and take over the NXT Women’s division at the same time. Of course, it’s a little sad to not be with them, but it’s a super-exciting time for me to break out on my own."

Carmella also stated that fans can expect to see a change to her current television persona:

"They’ll see a big change in me. My focus is just on me and on becoming NXT Women’s Champion. I don’t have to worry about what my boys are doing now. I support them and I’m so excited to see their success. But now, everyone gets to see Carmella and who she really is. I’m not just the hype girl."

WWE NXT Tag Team Makes RAW Debut

WWE NXT Superstars Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady came to the main roster without having a tag team title run in developmental. They debuted on tonight's post-WrestleMania 32 RAW in Dallas without Carmella.

The duo debuted after The Dudley Boyz defeated The Usos in a Tables Match. They hit the ring and did their usual intros as Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley watched from the ramp. Carmella Talks Transitioning from a Manager to a Wrestler, the Divas Revolution in WWE, Capturing the Womens Title in NXT, More

WWE NXT Diva Carmella recently spoke with Fansided and below are some interview highlights:

You came into the NXT organization as a manager for the tag team of Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady. Now you have transitioned to become a big part of the women’s roster. Was it difficult for you to make that switch?

I don’t think so, no. It’s just so crazy though. I was a cheerleader for the most of my life and going out there with the boys was just so much fun. I mean, we get along so great and they are my friends. Now, roles have changed a little bit. Instead of people just cheering Enzo and Cass on they get to cheer me on as well and see what I am all about. The roles have definitely changed a bit. I have to be on my game and show the audience and my peers that I’m not just a manager on the sidelines.

It’s still cool, though, that even though I’m with the boys at times I’m still training five days a week inside the ring. People might be a little impressed with me every time I step into the ring, I’m not going to lie. They will see what hard work have been putting in over the last two and a half years.

The main roster is featuring more and more of the Divas division recently. How have you seen the women in the WWE not only grow individually but as a group since you started in the company in 2013?

Well when I first started the Divas Revolution was just beginning. So to see how far it’s come, such as [with] Sasha and Bayley with the match of the year, it’s amazing. I have been put in a great situation where I was No. 1 contender for the Women’s title. It’s just that looking back on where I was and where I’m at now is mind blowing. The fact thatTriple H is giving us the opportunities to show the skills and talent we have is humbling and gives you the motivation to put on the best performance.

Capturing the Women’s Championship would be amazing. Looking at Bayley, who is my best friend and whose taught me so much, and [if] I was to win the title one day I would love for it to be against her. I don’t come from a wrestling background even though my father was one and being a dancer and cheerleader doesn’t turn into wrestling skills. That’s really a testament to our trainers at the Performance Center as well as all the hard work I am putting in. The hard work has gotten me to this point and I will continue to put in the time and the effort to continue chasing my goals.
