Curt Hawkins Comments On Getting Heat From Midcard Mafia Web Series With Tyler Reks
“It was within the same mold at Zack,” Hawkins, who now lives in Queens, said of the project. “You can’t just duplicate it. That’s not going to work. We brainstormed a different idea. Tyler is very talented with computer animation. I kind of wrote and edited it. We just crossed the line a little bit too much. In a way it worked because we were at the bottom of the totem pole. Even if we brought in a negative light, we brought a light, to some degree.”
Just a few episodes in, the show was over thanks to not-too-pleased WWE management, and the released episodes were scrubbed from the Web.

Vance Archer Comments On His WWE Release
Recently released WWE talent Lance Hoyt (Vance Archer) was interviewed yesterday by The 7x Wrestling Show:
On his release from WWE: "The reason given to me was budget reasons. I understand that life, the economy, everything around us has kinda gone to crap it seems like. It's hard for anybody and everybody, including big businesses, to make money, keep money, and keep moving forward themselves. So, I understand the business aspect of it. Do I think it was a good business decision? Absolutely not. It caught me off guard."
On teaming with Curt Hawkins: "Curt's an amazing talent. I think if given the opportunity he's gonna be somebody that can succeed. We were kinda thrown together as a tag team. He hadn't be on television or even on the road for a year or something like that and he calls me up one night and he's like, 'Hey man, remember that idea I pitched a year ago? Well, it's happening. Were gonna be a tag team.'"...More?

Edge Makes the Save at FCW
Edge signed autographs at last night's FCW show in Melbourne, Florida and later appeared in the ring to make the save for Bryan Danielson.
Danielson, now going under the name Daniel Bryan, was attacked after the main event by Curt Hawkins, Caylen Croft and Trent Beretta. Out of nowhere came Edge to the ring, taking out the three to save Danielson and FCW Heavyweight Champion Justin Angel.
Edge then shook hands with Angel and Danielson before posing for the crowd and leaving.

Potential Booms and Busts of the WWE Draft
Two weeks after announcing roster changes, WWE officially unveiled new talent lineups on all three of its television brands ("Raw," "Smackdown" and "Extreme Championship Wrestling"). A whopping 36 performers were swapped, the highest total since the WWE began conducting its annual draft in 2002.
In theory, the draft's main purpose is to create new headline matches and give up-and-coming wrestlers the chance to climb WWE's talent ladder.
Unlike with NFL draft picks, it doesn't take several years to judge whether grapplers will flourish in their new WWE surroundings. After the first week of programming, here's a look at this draft's potential booms and busts:
Boom
The Miz, MVP & Carlito and Primo Colon
Busts
The Brian Kendrick, Mr. Kennedy, Zack Ryder, Curt Hawkins, Jesse and Festus
...More?
