Rumor Mill - Sin Cara Has Been Ordered To Go Through Anger Management Courses

There's not going to be a major fallout with this fight that had happened, but Sin Cara has been ordered to take anger management courses. Dave Meltzer has given some details and clarification on what actually happened on the WWE bus in Europe on Sunday.

Sin Cara was making some sort of noises on the bus and others were telling him to shut up. Afterward, Jericho told him to shut up and that’s when Sin Cara told him to “f*ck off.” Sin Cara took a swing and missed and that’s when everyone jumped in to break it up.

Despite reports spreading around, Sin Cara did not end up hitting Jericho’s face, and Jericho was not knocked out. Sin Cara’s fist got close to Jericho’s mouth during the pull apart so that’s when Jericho had bitten his hand.

This so far marks 3 different fights Sin Cara has went through.. He was in a fight with Sheamus a few years ago backstage at a show and he was also involved in a fight with Simon Gotch in July backstage near catering before a Smackdown show. There were people that thought that Sin Cara would end up being fired after the fight with Gotch. Dave Meltzer has noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Sin Cara is being ordered to go to anger management.

Backstage Fight Breaks Out in WWE Locker Room Overseas Between Repeat Offender & Veteran Superstar

Wrestlezone’s own Justin LaBar noted moments ago via Twitter that a fight broke out in the WWE locker room during the ongoing international tour. We are hearing from multiple sources the scuffle involved veteran star Chris Jericho and Sin Cara, who would end up being a repeat offender in backstage incidents this year.

We reported back in July that Sin Cara got into it in catering at a WWE Smackdown television taping with Simon Gotch of the Vaudevillians tag team. Of course Jericho is no stranger to backstage drama, as it was widely noted that he and Brock Lesnar almost got into a brawl at WWE SummerSlam due to the confusion surrounding the finish of Lesnar’s match with Randy Orton, where he reportedly busted him open with legitimate, repeated forearm shots to the head.

While we don’t know exactly why the fight broke out, or who is at fault, this obvious doesn’t look good for Sin Cara. Getting away with a backstage incident with a newcomer like Gotch is a bit different than going at it with an active legend in a main event role on TV, that has support from virtually every name that matters backstage. The Raw brand will be in Glasgow, Scotland tomorrow followed by a Smackdown Live taping in the same city the following night.

Interview with the Lucha Dragons

The Lucha Dragons were interviewed by CBS affiliate WDJT in Milwaukee this past Tuesday, promoting that evening's SmackDown event, which you can watch in the video above. During the interview, Sin Cara talked about returning to the city.

"Obviously it's a city where they love wrestling, they love WWE," Sin Cara said. "To be here is an honor. It's great to come back to Wisconsin. Actually my high school coach in wrestling, he's from Dodgeville Wisconsin and he lives in Milwaukee. Hopefully I get a chance to say hi to him tonight."

Kalisto also talked about how wrestling in Mexico prepared him for WWE.

"Lucha libre is an art, and right now, lucha libre is universal," said Kalisto. "It prepared me a lot. We have a lot in common, me and Sin Cara. Ever since I started in XT, there was a different atmosphere, a different style, but lucha libre did help a lot. It helped us so much because we're both athletic and we're both high flyers. And we display a different art in the ring."

The Original Sin Cara Speaks: Confirms His Release, Claims He Owns The Sin Cara Character Rights

The original Sin Cara sat down with Mexican Lucha Libre show Tercera Caída yesterday to speak on his return to Mexico. The hosts briefly touched on his release, stating that Sin Cara is now an independent wrestler. Cara confirms by simply shaking his head to confirm the news and they quickly change the subject to what the WWE plans to do with the character.

Sin Cara spoils the recent WWE Main Event taping where Alberto Del Rio unmasks Hunico. He said that everyone knew that wasn't the real Sin Cara because of the tattoos and said that it was the last anyone in the WWE would see that character. Following some play on words, Sin Cara adamantly claims he owns the rights to the Sin Cara name, gimmick and mask. He said:

"I am the owner of the persona of Sin Cara. I say it openly because it's all on my side, in my favor. I think that it's best left to lawyers because I am the owner of the persona I am the owner of the [character's] image and I have proof."
The hosts mention to Sin Cara that having the rights to the name is very uncommon for WWE wrestlers. Sin Cara interjects and says that he has proof. Sin Cara responds back with:

"That depends on how the wrestler work their deals. I'm not here to talk bad about anyone. I've always been a person that goes the route of peace. I'm not going to fight with anyone or any company. I'm not saying that because I'm scared to fight a big company. No, Why would I? Everyone knows that the original Mistico went on to be [the original] Sin Cara in the WWE. So that we would not have any legal issues with CMLL, I automatically changed my name and my persona and continued on with my registered persona."

Sin Cara plugged his Sin Cara gym and confirmed some names for its 1 year anniversary.

WWE Status of the Original Sin Cara

Luis Urive, who was the original Sin Cara, will see his WWE contract expire on January 10th. Given that Hunico is currently working the Sin Cara character, nobody expects Urive to be re-signed to a new deal. However, the belief as of last week is that it wouldn’t be until March that he would be available to sign with a new promotion.

Scooby Doo to investigate mysteries at WWE WrestleMania

Always wondered what Scooby Doo would look like in a wrestling singlet? Craved to see John Cena fist drop a giant bear that is on fire? Well get yourself down to a DVD bargain bin where you will soon find a copy of ‘Scooby Doo: Wrestlemania Mystery’.

Scooby and Shaggy will forgo haunted houses and abandoned schools for one night only in order to solve a case at WWE’s flasgship event, aided by wrestlers like John Cena, Triple H, Kane and more.

The straight-to-DVD animated movie is a different direction for WWE Studios, who usually make films where up-and-coming superstars point guns at things and disappointingly don’t suplex any henchmen.

The trailer sees Scoob co-opt The Rock’s ‘Just bring it!’ catchphrase and even enter the squared circle himself for a tag-team match, the mystery oddly being not ‘what is the appeal of John Cena?’ but ‘why has a massive flaming bear been put in a cage match?’

Update on the Sin Cara WWE Character

WWE may have parted ways with Luis Ignascio Urive Alvirde, the real Sin Cara, on Monday by informing him just a few hours before RAW. We're still waiting on confirmation of his departure.

Hunico will be working as Sin Cara going forward but may not be behind the mask permanently as there's already talk of bringing someone up from NXT to play the character.

WWE chose not to kill off the Sin Cara character completely because his merchandise has done well and there's a feeling that they have built up a character that pays into the colorful personality of WWE. The feeling is that the character didn't fail but the performer who played the character failed.

Update on Sin Cara’s Future in WWE, Who Will Play Him?, Hunico News, Unhappiness with Mistico

The original Sin Cara, the lucha libre star known as Mistico in Mexico, did NOT work last night's Raw broadcast as Sin Cara, but rather Hunico dawned the mask and was working as the character he has played in WWE in the past.

In an update to this developing story, PWInsider.com reports the decision was made within WWE to move forward with Hunico as Sin Cara, and last night was somewhat of a re-introduction of the character as he got a big win over Alberto Del Rio, and WWE went back to using the old Sin Cara lighting for the bout.

The original Sin Cara, known as Mistico in Mexico, is currently at home in Mexico and the feeling in WWE is that he will not be brought back to the company and not re-signed when his deal expires. This has yet to be confirmed, however.

There has been an unhappiness with Mistico as Cara within WWE, and it established itself right from the get-go when Cara made his WWE debut. The feeling in the company is that he underachieved, did not bring his star power with him to WWE from Mexico, was too hurt too often, and carried himself backstage in WWE as a bigger star than he actually was. Because he was Triple H's first signing, however, there was a lot of pressure on Cara to make an impact in WWE.

In what's a very ironic situation, additionally, there was a story line battle between Hunico and Mistico for the Sin Cara name in WWE, and in real life, Hunico was actually given the name Mistico in Mexico before Mistico was given the name, so the roles have completely reversed in WWE.

Rumor Mill - Major Backstage Heat On Sin Cara Following Last Night's Raw

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that there is massive heat backstage on Sin Cara following last night's RAW. He apparently has a lot of heat for immediately quitting during his match with Alberto Del Rio after dislocating his finger. As noted earlier, Sin Cara will be undergoing X-rays today to make sure that he didn't suffer an avulsion fracture.

Sin Cara Suffers an Injury on Raw

During Raw tonight, Sin Cara suffered what appears to be a hand injury during his match against Alberto Del Rio.

The injury came when Cara dove through the ropes to the outside to hit Del Rio, and upon landing he immediately signaled the referee to come over, and the ref put up the X sign and stopped the match.

Several of Sin Cara's fingers looked out of place, which leads one to believe he might have suffered a broken hand, however that has yet to be confirmed.
