WWE Creates New YouTube Gaming Channel
WWE today launched UpUpDownDown, a new YouTube channel focusing on the world of video gaming, hosted by WWE Superstar and avid gamer, Xavier Woods®. Woods, also known to online players by his handle “Austin Creed,” will be joined by YouTube celebrities, WWE Superstars and video game editors who will star in daily programming about everything in the world of gaming – from current hits like “WWE 2K15” and “The Witcher” to classic series like “FIFA” and “Grand Theft Auto.”
“By leveraging WWE’s massive influence on YouTube and tapping into a content vertical that scores highly among our fans, we’re poised to make an immediate impact with this new channel,” said Lisa Fox, WWE Executive Vice President, Content. “We’re confident that UpUpDownDown will entertain not only WWE fans, but gamers everywhere.”
WWE has a powerful presence on YouTube, having served more than 5 billion video views in the last 12 months and boasting more than 6.4 million subscribers, making it the No. 1 Sports channel on the platform ahead of the NBA, MLB, NFL, NHL, ESPN and NASCAR.
Programming for UpUpDownDown will include:
• UpUpDownDown Plays (Mondays) – A “Let’s Play” style show featuring Woods and other personalities playing through today’s hottest titles.
• For the Lolz (Wednesdays) – Woods and others explore the vast worlds of popular sandbox games like Grand Theft Auto V, where just about anything and everything can happen.
• Jump Scares (Fridays) – Delving deep into the horror genre, players push their intestinal fortitude to the limit by creeping through the industry’s most bloodcurdling games.
• Superstar Savepoint (Saturdays) – Guests are tasked with jumping into a random game totally “cold,” and must help lead Woods to gaming glory in this unpredictable co-op experiment.
• Gamer Gauntlet (Sundays) – Woods and friends challenge each other for more than gaming bragging rights, with losers suffering pre-determined penalties.

Interview with Austin Creed
Former TNA star Consequences Creed says he accepts his release from the company was simply part of the wrestling business. The star was one of a number of TNA employees who were let go in March, making way for the likes of Jeff Hardy, Rob Van Dam and Ken Anderson.
But the star says he is not bitter and is happy being back on the independent circuit, where he wrestles as Austin Creed. Speaking on The One Sided Ring Podcast, Creed says "There's such an influx of guys coming in. It's only a two-hour show and there are only a certain amount of things you can do with two hours. So obviously some of the guys are going to have to move on to other things."
"It's something you have to be ready for going into this, because you're not always going to be in a position to wrestle on TV."...More?

Q&A with Consequences Creed
Q: How’d you react as a college senior when TNA called you about competing on a tag team in the huge “Bound for Glory” event at the Gwinnett Center?
A: I thought, this is like one of the greatest things that has ever happened to me. This is going to be seen across the world and in front of thousands in the arena. I could either do well and maybe get a contract or not do well and not ever wrestle again.”
Q: And?
A: I ended up getting my face rammed into the concrete. I had to get a couple of shots of Novocain and stitches. It turned out pretty well. A week or two later, I got a contract...More?

Interview with Samoa Joe
ESPN: You recently switched things up a little with the face paint. Why the change?
Samoa Joe: You know what, it's really just an extension of the character. That's the great thing about pro wrestling as you can take a persona you have and really keep pushing and pushing it as there really are no boundaries, no lines. It's just a continuation of my character. Where people knew me as a really aggressive person, now I'm over-the-top aggressive. We'll see how far I can push it.
ESPN: You were one of the consultants on the "TNA Impact" video game. Was it cool to be able to introduce the Suicide character in the game then watch someone take over that gimmick in real life? I don't think that's ever been done before where a wrestling character debuted in a game before TV.
Samoa Joe: It was pretty trippy. I remember working on the game and they showed me the character they designed. I was looking at the outfit and thought it was pretty cool, that it could be cool for a wrestler to wear. Next thing you know, I'm walking in the studio one day and there was the costume and the wrestler was getting all made up and ready to go. I was like, wow, they actually made a real Suicide...More?

TNA News
TNA wanted 2 Cold Scorpio to play the role of Rasheed Lucius Consequences Creed as a new member for 'Team Pacman'. No word on why it didn't go down but that's definitely who they wanted. Styles and Tomko won the tag titles anyways so that's the route they are going. No more 'Pacman'.
There will be at tournament on iMPACT! based on eliminations from the battle royal at Bound for Glory. It was setup so it would be Young vs. James Storm, Junior Fatu vs. Roode, Chris Sabin vs. Alex Shelley, and Frankie Kazarian vs. Lance Hoyt.
Before the TNA Bound for Glory PPV The Motor City Machineguns of Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin d. Joey Matthews (Joey Mercury) & Johnny Swinger (Johnny Parisi).
Kevin Nash is going to be wrestling in TNA at the next PPV - Genesis. Yay. This also means TNA offered him more money to stick around.
The Amazing Kong is now known as Awesome Kong.
Look for Matt Morgan vs. Tomko, possibly at the iMPACT! tapings this week and Sting vs. Kevin Nash at TNA Genesis.
