December to Dismember

Everyone's favorite Extremist, Rob Van Dam, will finally get his chance at Big Show's ECW World Title at December to Dismember. Of course, he has the unenviable task of fighting his way through four other top Extremists in an Extreme Elimination Chamber full of weapons in addition to taking on the Extreme Giant. The Chamber participants CM Punk, Lashley, Test and Sabu each bring an insatiable hunger for the ECW World Title that make for dangerous grounds. Who will escape this dreaded structure as the champion? Can any of these competitors truly survive the most controversial main event in ECW history? Tonight at 8:00pm on pay-per-view.

The End of the WWE?

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling

For those of you that remember Triple H and DX invading WCW, it seems that Vince Russo has resurrected this storyline. This is the type of angle that you can only do one time. Wrestling fans still talk about the DX invasion of WCW. I seriously doubt anyone will have fond memories of this so-called war declared by VKM.

Child Death Blamed on Wrestling

Child Death Story

I'm not sure why people try to blame wrestling shows when things like this happen. I watched wrestling as a kid and as you can tell from my site - still do. When my son was younger, he would watch also. He never attacked anyone or tried wrestling moves on anyone. Why didn't he? Because I told him not to. Although, he did beat the hell out of his stuffed animals!

Survivor Series

Triple H and Team DX won their elimination match by defeating Team Rated-RKO. There is a nice recap at rajah.com. As usual, Hunter looked gorgeous.

Football, Baseball and The Advocate?

I have a friend that is very into football. I was teasing him about the snap from the center to the quarterback and where the QB has to put his hands. Then I started to think about baseball and the relationship between the catcher and the pitcher. I guess I shouldn't say relationship, but there is a lot going on in between the legs of the catcher and the pitcher is very interested. Just some of my skewed thinking.

Rapper Threatens Triple H Over “The Game”

So the rapper The Game (Jayceon Terell Taylor) is upset with Triple H because he thinks that Hunter is suing him over the rights to the moniker "The Game". First, Hunter isn't suing him. The WWE is challenging Taylor's use of the moniker as they claim they used it first and have the rights to it. Let's review our history:

  • 1. Taylor claims that his grandmother gave him the nickname because she said he always had "game".
  • 2. As best as my research can tell, the first professional use by Taylor of the moniker The Game is 2004. He apparently had some mix tapes released, but I've found no proof that he was using this moniker. Those tapes were released sometime between 2001 and 2004.
  • 3. Taylor has also used the monikers Hurricane Game and Chuck Taylor.
  • 4. Hunter has been using The Game as one of his nicknames since 1999.
I'm not sure how Taylor intends to resolve this, but I feel an appearance coming i.e. K-Fed. It has been reported the Federline got $15,000.00 for each of his appearances. Taylor should strike a deal with the WWE, both sides can make some money, and call it a day.
