WWE Supplemental Draft and Kayfabe Live!

Numerous Superstars who were left unscathed by the Draft on Raw will now have to brace themselves for new possibilities. The Supplemental Draft, a four-hour event beginning at noon ET on Sunday, will take place right here on WWE.com.

New chatroom, Kayfabe Live! can be accessed here. Please join us during the WWE 2007 Supplemental Draft and during Raw every Monday at 9:00pm ET.

In professional wrestling, kayfabe (pronounced KAY-fayb; IPA: ['keɪfeɪb]) refers to the portrayal of events within the industry as real, that is the portrayal of professional wrestling as not staged or worked. Referring to events as kayfabe means that they are worked events, and/or part of a wrestling storyline. In relative terms, a wrestler breaking kayfabe during a show would be likened to an actor breaking character on camera.

Triple H on Tough Enough

"...you sold like that in the ring i'd tag you for real..."

Hated blogger leaves U.S., threatens lawsuits

A failed real estate speculator who created a popular Web site touting his exploits has begun threatening to sue his critics and claims to be in hiding in Australia.

Casey Serin, arguably the world's most-hated blogger, rocketed to Internet stardom after disclosing his pending foreclosures, marital strife and unwillingness to find a job. But the 24-year-old's online fame was hardly flattering: it arose from legions of readers who call themselves "haterz" and frequent his iamfacingforeclosure.com blog to ridicule his financial missteps and urge Serin to pay back up to $420,000 he is said to owe creditors....More?

'The Undertaker,' partner sample local real estate

"The Undertaker" is overtaking professional office space in Northern Colorado.

WWE Pro Wrestler Mark Calaway and business partner Scott Everhart are dabbling in the region's Class A office space and liking what they see.

The powerhouse business partners are investing in real estate across the county, including a $2.7 million building at Interstate 25 and Crossroads Boulevard in Loveland.

"The growth here just came out and bit us," said Everhart, who also is a financial consultant for A.G. Edwards. "This is the best place to be."

The Calahart building - named after Calaway and Everhart - boasts upscale office space and prime location to nearby Centerra.

Calaway gradually moved into real estate investment knowing his wrestling career wouldn't last forever. The five-time world champion recently suffered a rupture in the distal tendon of his right arm, meaning Calaway's bicep muscle had torn away from the bone. The injury from the May 11 match will have him out of commission for the next five months.

"(Real estate) is a new adventure for me," Calaway said. "I've done wrestling for 20 years; I know most of the answers."...More?

Royce Gracie Claims He Didn't Take Anything Illegal

The following are some quotes from Royce Gracie regarding the failed drug-test from the K-1/EXC "Dynamite!! USA" show. Information comes courtesy of Sherdog.com.

"I have never in my 14-year fighting carrier [sic] taken anything other then natural supplements and natural proteins," said Gracie, who was paid $300,000 to fight. "As such, I am shocked that anything was found in my system."

Royce would go on in the article to say:

"I am looking into this issue right now and will file an appeal with the CSAC," Gracie's e-mail continued. "I have been training [for] this fight since October of 2006, as initially the show was supposed to be on March 15th. Over the course of training I have taken legal supplements that are available in GNC to anyone that wants to get them. Outside of that I have never taken anything nor ever would consider taking anything."

And finally, Royce says:

"My good name is all I have and I do not want my fans to think that I would ever be [involved] with anything like this."

Wu-Tang Clan Joins Bodog Family

From Calvin Ayre's blog:

The Wu-Tang Clan recorded some of the most revolutionary beats, rhymes and flows of the 90s and no other hip-hop artist since has even come close to achieving the same amount of respect and recognition.

This really is the shit. It makes me so damn proud to announce that Bodog Music has scheduled the fall release of 8 Diagrams, Wu-Tang Clan’s latest (and possibly greatest) album to date.

And ya… I’ve heard about all of the arrests and drug charges. All of the stories – from their alleged ties to the Gambino crime family to their storming the stage at the 1998 Grammy Awards to the eyebrow-raising events leading up to the death of Ol’ Dirty Bastard in 2004 – everything about the Wu-Tang Clan brand challenges the norm. They’re dangerous. They’re downright dirty and they’re funnier than all hell.

I don’t need to ask the question…but I will… Why would Bodog Music sign them? Because they fit our style as everyone can already see. That’s the way I see it ..the Wu Tang Clan lives Bodog style…making their own rules!

With everything that Bodog Entertainment is doing these days – including Calvin Ayre Wild Card Poker II, Bodog Fight and Bodog Battle – the addition of the Wu-Tang Clan to our international distribution list can only be a big boost to our label… and an interesting fit for the Bodog brand.

Calvin Ayre vs. Dana White

In response to recent comments made by Ultimate Fighting Championship president Dana White, Bodog Fight founder Calvin Ayre is pleased to extend a once-in-a-lifetime offer to his mixed martial arts rival.

White’s unfortunate public diatribe included slanderous comments about the Canadian billionaire, referring to the online gaming mogul as a “criminal”. The notoriously bald UFC promoter goes on to liken Mr. Ayre to a Richard Pryor character, stating “he’s like that guy in Brewster’s Millions who is trying to spend all his money in 48 hours.” With July 14th’s Bodog Fight: Eddie Alvarez vs. Matt Lee marking Ayre’s first event on U.S. soil, the digital entertainment icon is referencing another Hollywood film, The Godfather, by making White “an offer he can’t refuse.” “Sources tell me Dana’s a big Bodog Fight fan,” said Ayre. “He must be. He can’t stop talking about us. Personally, I love it when he keeps mentioning my organization in the media. He doesn’t seem to realize that each time he does, he only makes me more money, which is why I want to repay him by allowing him to experience the luxurious lifestyle I am fortunate to enjoy for 48 hours.”

“Since, regrettably, I am unable to attend the upcoming Bodog Fight event in New Jersey, I will offer to send my private jet – complete with an assortment of beautiful Bodog Girls – to pick up Mr. White, wherever he may be. I will then fly him to the east coast where he will enjoy a front row seat to our next event, followed by a VIP evening including a comfortable five-star overnight stay in a nearby Atlantic City hotel. After hitting the poker tables, Mr. White can retire to his lavish suite, sip the finest champagne and relax in the knowledge that all amenities and services are complimentary as my way of saying ‘thank-you’ for all the money he keeps making me.”

All Mr. White has to do is send his R.S.V.P. to pr@bodogfight.com and the wheels will be put into motion.

Royce Gracie Fails Drug Test

Royce Gracie tested positive for decadurabolin, a steroid also known as Nandralone. As a result of the failed test taken prior to the 6/2 Kazushi Sakuraba K-1 match on 6/2 in Los Angeles, Gracie has been suspended for one year by the California State Athletic Commission. Pending an appeal, Gracie will not be allowed to fight in any U.S. commission state until 6/1/08. Gracie was also fined $2,000. California's commission does not have the power to overturn the decision, so Gracie's victory over Sakuraba will stand.
