The hype begins...

In addition to crowning a new Intercontinental Champion and lining up John Cena’s next challenger for the WWE Championship, Raw’s highlights also included clips from Triple H’s arduous road to recovery from a torn right quadriceps. Although The Game wasn’t there in person, just seeing the 10-time World Champion back on the TitanTron screen had many of our fans at the American Airlines Center buzzing...More?

Was Benoit's Son Really Sick?

...There are additional reports that contradict the earlier information that suggested that Daniel Benoit may have suffered from Dwarf Syndrome or Fragile X Syndrome. Daniel's family denies that he suffered from either condition. As a result of the family's concerns, the Fayette County Sheriff's investigators and the District Attorney's Office have inquired into this matter. A source having access to certain of Daniel's medical reports reviewed those reports, and they do not mention any pre-existing mental or physical impairment...More?

Stephan Bonnar’s Second Act

The world loves a good comeback story. The tale of Stephan Bonnar applies.

One half of the tandem (along with Forrest Griffin) responsible for putting mixed martial arts on the mainstream map in April of 2005 with their nationally televised three round war at the Ultimate Fighter season one finale, Bonnar was one of the UFC’s golden boys – he could fight, he loved to scrap, and was quick with a witty sound bite...More?

CHICAGO, Illinois (AP) -- Stealing someone's heart can cost you: Just ask German Blinov.

A Cook County jury ordered Blinov to shell out $4,802 last week after he was sued by a husband from a Chicago suburb for stealing the affections of the man's wife.

Wrestlers to Testify on Capitol Hill?

More fun...

A couple of years ago, baseball players were brought before Congress, where their implausibly comic denials of steroid use resulted in a much tougher major league drug policy.

Retired football players went to Washington last week. Recounting careers that left them crippled and concussed will make it easier for them to collect the disability payments they deserve.

Now it's time for wrestlers to testify on Capitol Hill....More?

Police Seize Benoit Wikipedia Imposter's Computer

I had not posted anything Benoit-related in a few days because it was really getting to me. However, this Wikipedia investigation is interesting. Newsvine.com has a recap of the "wiki-events" and a photo of the alleged perpetrator.

It was widely reported by Fox News, the Associated Press, ABC News, digg and a host of other news sites (and originally on Wikinews) that an anonymous user on Wikipedia altered the online encyclopedia's article on Chris Benoit noting the death of the pro-wrestler's wife some 13-14 hours before police found the dead bodies of Benoit, his wife, and 7-year-old son. The incident is being treated as a murder-suicide.

What the anonymous user on Wikipedia may have failed to realize, is that little about your activity on Wikipedia (or the rest of the internet) is anonymous...More?

Get rid of ugly people?

Why would evolution have gotten rid of ugly people? Usually if you're not shallow...you would marry for personality, not looks. So, then the "ugly gene" would get passed down.
