Despite professional wrestling’s recent troubles involving Chris Benoit, wrestling fans still packed the BancorpSouth Arena Saturday night for "The Biggest Party of the Summer."
Chris Miller, 24, was one of thousands who flooded the Arena to see the likes of Ric Flair, Batista, Edge and several other wrestlers from WWE Smackdown, the ECW & the Condemned. Even though he was a fan of Benoit, Miller said the show must go on...More?

JR's Comments Concerning Chyna and a Fan
On JR's blog, he responded to a comment a purported Chyna fan left on his site:
We also received an comment from an individual named Donnie who did not appreciate my comments about me questioning “Chyna’s credibility” on some of the news programs “Chyna” appeared on in recent weeks. For the record Donnie, Chyna was not fired from the WWE but chose for personal reasons to not resign with the WWE. I know this in detail, as I was the one who spent hours speaking with her on multiple days about her issues that were of a personal nature, but also of a contractual and professional nature. I personally felt like Chyna’s comments were all over the road, at times incoherent, and generally challenging to listen to. That’s my opinion on a website that bares my name and that I personally fund.
Because I am so tired of her continuous rants concerning the WWE (and at times Triple H), I just had to leave him a response. This is what I wrote:
Hi JR,
I just wanted to say that I enjoy you site and seeing you on Raw each week. I have never commented on your blog, but after your responds to Donnie concerning Chyna, I felt compelled to. It has been many years since she has been a part of the WWE and it is obvious to me and others that she is still struggling with some issues. I think it is possible to be a fan of someone without accepting everything that they do. Maybe Donnie should take that approach. Just my two cents from a die-hard wrestling fan.
I don't expect a response from him. I was just blowing of steam....
Pills from docs have a hold on wrestlers
When state police and state narcotics officers burst through the door of Dr. David Stephenson's Rome, N.Y., home in March 2005, ready to search for evidence that he had been writing illegal prescriptions, they found his personal stash right on the bedroom nightstand.
Stephenson had GHB and Ketamine, two powerful drugs commonly misused by weightlifters and bodybuilders. To most people, GHB and Ketamine are known as "date rape drugs," anesthetics that can put users into dangerously deep sleep, and can kill when abused...More?

Chris Benoit Conspiracy Theories Frustrate Investigators
Did Chris Benoit really do what police have said? There are still some that believe that the very popular wrestler may have been the ultimate victim and that someone else ended the lives of Nancy, Daniel and Chris. Police say that he is the one and that he did it over a three day period. Others wonder when World Wresting Entertainment (WWE) found out about the tragedy and why if they knew, they continued with a three hour tribute about the man Vince McMahon would later call a monster...More?

Liddell Takes on Earnhardt Jr. Today in ESPN’s “Who’s Now"
He’s mixed martial arts’ reigning superstar, an athlete known by fight fans for his right hand to the jaw, and by your sister for scaring the wits out of Johnny Drama on HBO’s ‘Entourage’. Even your grandmother probably knows who Chuck Liddell is after he made an appearance to cheer on his friend Willa Ford during her stint on season one of ABC’s ‘Dancing with the Stars’.
Bottom line, the mohawked Liddell has become the face of the world’s fastest growing sport in recent years, and has rightfully earned himself one of 32 spots on ESPN’s “Who’s Now” list, alongside sports superstars such as Tiger Woods, Derek Jeter, Lebron James, and Tom Brady...More?
