Triple H - Guest Editor of WWE Magazine

Triple H was named the guest editor for the latest issue of WWE Magazine. As guest editor, he scribbled random comments over pictures of the wrestlers. Here are a few of the things he wrote, which were interesting to say the least:

-- "Oh my God! Someone left Bobby in the dryer!" (in reference to a picture of a 170 pound Bobby Lashley when he was an amateur wrestler in high school)

-- "Daivari Action Figure ("Actual Size")." (points to an action figure of Daivari)

-- "Poor guy has a thread hanging of his shirt... oh wait that's his arm" (in reference to a skinny fan flexing with John Cena for a photo)

-- "This workout isn't helping this guy much." (in reference to pictures of a 150 pound guy doing one of Randy Orton's recommended workouts)

-- "Yeah yeah yeah, but how do I get rid of my crabgrass?" (over a picture of Super Crazy)

-- "Funaki Wang Dang Yang..." (over a picture of Funaki; he also drew a fu manchu moustache over Funaki's face)

-- "Comes with Warrior's actual IQ" (he was directing this to a picture of an old Ultimate Warrior plush doll)...More?

Pacman's wrestling career doesn't stand ghost of a chance

Suspension? What suspension?

On Monday, suspended Tennessee Titan Adam "Pacman" Jones signed with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) after being handed a season-long expulsion by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell because of several run-ins with the fine men and women of the law enforcement community.

Jones, who was the first defensive player selected in the 2005 draft, joins the likes of former Carolina Panther Kevin Greene, Super Bowl winner Steve "Mongo" McMichael and former Atlanta Falcon Bill Goldberg as NFL stars trying to make it big in the world of professional wrestling...More?

Triple H Returning on August 13th?

According to sources, it’s almost certain that HHH will make his big return on next week’s RAW from Madison Square Garden. He will, most likely, make the save for Jerry Lawler after King Booker stomps him down during the crowing segment. Despite not being advertised for RAW, he will make his return according to sources. His return on RAW will likely be followed by the announcement of a match at Summerslam with him and King Booker.

McMahon Paternity Angel to Include Hunter - Possible Spoiler

...As previously reported, the paternity suit is scheduled to reveal Mr. Ken Kennedy as Vince's born-out-of-wedlock son. It is still unknown who will play the part of Kennedy's mother.

The on-air revelation that Ken Kennedy is Vince McMahon's son will lelad to a post-Summerslam feud between Mr. Kennedy and the The Game - Triple H. It is expected that Hunter will acknowledge on television for the first time that he is Vince's real life son-in-law. The original post-SummerSlam plans to have Triple H feud with Randy Orton have been changed. Orton will likelly continue his feud with John Cena into the fall.

For those who don't know, "Kennedy" is actually Vince McMahon's middle name. Before Ken Kennedy was called up to WWE from the developmental system, it was Paul Heyman who told Ken to use McMahon's middle name as part of his ring name as a way to endear himself to Vince. The "Kennedy" name connection will be addressed as part of the storyline...More?

To Catch A Predator - Lights, Camera, Entrapment?

A high-powered celebrity lawyer representing a doctor accused of being a sexual predator went after "Dateline NBC" yesterday in a California courtroom.

Blair Berk, whose clients include Lindsay Lohan, Mel Gibson and Halle Berry, is currently representing Dr. Maurice Wolin, a prominent oncologist. WWE Signs Third Generation Member of the Von Erich Family

The WWE has apparently signed Lacey Adkisson, the daughter the late Kerry Von Erich to a (presumably) developmental deal. On her MySpace.com page, Adkisson announced, "Just signed with WWE!! Following daddy's foot steps...! Wish me luck!!"

Lacey, 21 years old, would be the the first third-generation member of the famous Von Erich wrestling family, who were the centerpiece of the legendary World Class Championship Wrestling territory based out of Dallas, Texas. WWE is slated to release a WCCW documentary DVD set this December.

Lacey's father Kerry, a former NWA World and WWF Intercontinental champion, was considered one of the top babyfaces of the 1980s. He passed away in 1993 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Raw Ratings

WWE officials were informed on August 2, 2007 by Nielsen Media Research that there was a technical issue affecting the listed ratings of several programs last week, including Monday Night Raw.

This explains the dramatic drop in the rating for Raw last week, dropping from a 3.4 last week to a 2.5.

Assuming no error took place (as speculated with last week's number) this week’s edition of RAW did a 3.8 cable rating. According to Nielson Media Research the first hour did a 3.67 with the second doing a 3.94.

WWE officials can breathe a sigh of relief as bringing back the Mr. McMahon character did as they expected.
