11th WWE Wrestler Suspended

...After announcing the suspension of 10 wrestlers Thursday, WWE attorney Jerry McDevitt Friday confirmed to Newsday one more suspension. Although WWE has not released any names, the suspensions came after WWE learned from Albany prosecutors that several wrestlers had received steroids and other drugs from an Internet dealer under investigation.

MLB & NFL Players Involved with Signature Pharmacy Scandal

According to South Africa's Independent Online King Booker and Queen Sharmell will renew their wedding vows in a traditional Zulu ceremony that will see members of the Zulu royal family and top city officials attend. Suspended wrestlers are the least of WWE’s problems

...Looking at the dates of the purchases, the credibility of the WWE wellness policy is zero. The purchase of illegal steroids online is banned in the policy. Until now, nobody has paid the price nor had one of these men been caught if not for the government investigation.

An even bigger problem is going to be the media reaction to all of this. If the WWE thought that they were crucified before, they haven’t seen anything yet. Every defense they had was that they had a wellness policy that worked and steroids had nothing to do with the early deaths of wrestlers...More?

In a story on FOXNews.com in the entertainment section it was reported that Nick Hogan's car accident is probably "the final straw in his folks' marriage." A source close to the Hogan's said that the Hulkster and his wife didn't need this on top of their current marriage problems. The source continues saying that Hulk and Linda have been "sleeping in separate beds for quite some time" while they try to make their relationship work. While police said that excessive speeding was the cause of the crash, another friend said that what Nick's parents are going through is eventually effecting Nick. "His accident was probably a culmination of a lot of things," the unnamed friend said.

Hughes & Miletich Part Ways

One of the world’s most prolific coaches has bid farewell to one of his star pupils - former UFC Welterweight Champion Matt Hughes has amicably split from longtime mentor Pat Miletich to start his own fight team, with plans to open a gym out of his home state of Illinois.

“Matt’s been with me for almost a decade,” said Miletich on Fight Network Radio today. “We’ve had a lot of great years together. This is a natural progression for guys to eventually go out on their own.”

WWE Doping Scandal Update

After confirming information from the Albany DA today, Mr. McMahon himself informed the 10 talents that they would be suspended.

Nine of the suspensions are the Superstar's first offense while one is the second offense for the Superstar. First offenses carry 30 days while second offenses carry a suspension of 60 days. Again, McDevitt didn't name any names or speculate as to who may have what.

All of the suspensions come with no pay.
