ECW Airing on WWE.com
WWE announced today that effective immediately they will begin airing full ECW TV episodes on the official WWE web site. This further raises questions that ECW’s television deal with the Sci-Fi Network will not be renewed past the end of 2007.
Possible ECW/SmackDown Merger
In another huge story coming out of WWE, it appears that the SmackDown and ECW brands will be merging to an extent. This comes as a direct result of TV discussions between WWE and NBC/Universal not going so good. WWE and The Sci-Fi Network's deal expires at the end of this year and so far, Sci-Fi has shown signs that they might not re-sign.
Since ECW's premiere on the network in June of 2006, the ratings have dropped from a 2.79 to a 1.1 and 1.2 in the past two weeks, which are bad numbers for Sci-Fi original programming. The ECW program could be considered by some as just a step above Heat or Velocity, as just another C-level show. Bad wrestling and bad booking can obviously be linked to the ratings slump...More?
Pro Wrestling Regulation
The Atlanta Journal Constitution has a new article talking about the Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission possibly overseeing pro wrestling in that state. Commission board member Cary Ichter said: "I'm going to make sure we have a way to protect folks in Georgia from the shenanigans of the WWE." WWE is currently exempt from from being regulated in Georgia due to a rule that prevents organizations with assets over $25 million from being exempt. Ichter is looking to close that loophole in Georgia law. WWE attorney Jerry McDevitt commented on Ichter's actions saying, "Gee, surprise, surprise. Wonder why he's doing that?"

Some fighters think UFC salaries unfair
When discussing fighter salaries, Ultimate Fighting Championship president Dana White is fond of saying, "I take care of my guys."
Some of those guys aren't so sure.
Last week, UFC heavyweight champion Randy Couture walked away from the organization with two fights left on his contract, in part, due to what he thought was low pay compared to other UFC stars. He also told Sherdog.com that the UFC lied to him about being the second-highest paid fighter in the promotion.
Couture is not alone when it comes to being dissatisfied with how the UFC doles out dollars. Light heavyweight Dan Henderson, who was in Houston on Saturday to conduct a clinic at Miletich Fighting Systems, says dealing with the UFC on compensation and contracts is challenging and not as easy as previous negotiations with Pride Fighting Championships...More?

TNA News
TNA wanted 2 Cold Scorpio to play the role of Rasheed Lucius Consequences Creed as a new member for 'Team Pacman'. No word on why it didn't go down but that's definitely who they wanted. Styles and Tomko won the tag titles anyways so that's the route they are going. No more 'Pacman'.
There will be at tournament on iMPACT! based on eliminations from the battle royal at Bound for Glory. It was setup so it would be Young vs. James Storm, Junior Fatu vs. Roode, Chris Sabin vs. Alex Shelley, and Frankie Kazarian vs. Lance Hoyt.
Before the TNA Bound for Glory PPV The Motor City Machineguns of Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin d. Joey Matthews (Joey Mercury) & Johnny Swinger (Johnny Parisi).
Kevin Nash is going to be wrestling in TNA at the next PPV - Genesis. Yay. This also means TNA offered him more money to stick around.
The Amazing Kong is now known as Awesome Kong.
Look for Matt Morgan vs. Tomko, possibly at the iMPACT! tapings this week and Sting vs. Kevin Nash at TNA Genesis.
