Mike Abitabile at Devil's Advocate has posted a great commentary on the spin that the smarks have put on Triple H's response to being questioned about the Montreal Screwjob. Triple H was asked what would have happened if Shawn Michaels had been screwed instead of Bret Hart.
Mike states in part...When they go to Triple H, he said "That never would've happened. We're not that stupid." Now, maybe I am alone here, but I thought it was pretty obvious that HHH was saying that, in his opinion, Vince would not have been stupid enough to screw Shawn instead of Bret. Not so, says Mike Johnson of PWInsider, who posted this news under the headline "Triple H Calls Bret Hart Stupid" (here). I really don't see how that adds up to calling Bret stupid, maybe I am alone though.
No Mike, you are not alone.

Cena: Steroids? "Absolutely not"
In a country in which the news media is highly suspect, and the quality of unbiased reporting has been thrown into the trash can, CNN has stooped to new depths. Notwithstanding the fairness, or lack therein, of CNN’s recent piece entitled “Death Grip: Inside Pro Wrestling,” perhaps the best example of how CNN misrepresents and unfairly presents their biased, if not illegal, point of view is the comparison of WWE’s unedited video above to CNN’s edited version. CNN’s depiction of John Cena as it relates to steroids is not only professionally and morally wrong, but damaging to his character.
Unedited footage of what John Cena really said, which did not air on CNN's Death Grip: Inside Pro Wrestling

UFC, CBS Talking Prime Time Specials
CBS and UFC are in talks about producing one or more prime time network specials. Due to the ongoing Writer's Guild strike, UFC has more leverage now in such talks since they potentially provide unscripted programming, something all the networks will need once they run out of fresh episodes of the shows currently on schedule.
