I’m still not over the site of Floyd Mayweather in a WWE ring. Honestly, I had a hard time sleeping last night just thinking of it. I haven’t been this excited for a celeb-wrestling angle since Pacman Jones joined TNA! Just kidding. No, I haven’t been this amped since Mike Tyson appeared on RAW in January 1998. That angle ranks as one of the best ever in my books.
So, I got to thinking: If Money May will actually be involved in WM 24, can this angle trump Tyson-Austin from ten years ago? I most certainly think so...More?

Comparing Mayweather-Show to Austin-Tyson
Three's Company
After Randy Orton robbed John Cena of a chance at the main event at WrestleMania XXIV by slapping the referee and getting disqualified in their match at No Way Out, Raw General Manager William Regal arranged a non-title bout between the two Monday with Triple H serving as guest referee. As “The Champ” pinned Orton, The Game intensely stared him down and reluctantly gave him the three-count. Cena’s win sets up a Triple Threat Title Match for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania.

Triple H in WM Main Event...Again
Triple H winning Raw's Elimination Chamber match didn't come as a surprise. I'm sure those text voters who had Hardy ahead of Hunter were voting with their hearts instead of their minds. And, barring the creation of a three-way match at Mania, it will be Hunter challenging Orton for the WWE Title at WrestleMania.
Naturally, there is frustration with Hunter being thrust into the spotlight yet again. The perception is that he's married to the boss's daughter, so he's always going to presented as the top star of the company.
It's a tough situation for Hunter. It's about as much of a no-win situation any wrestler can find himself in. Should he remain on the mid-card, away from the title picture, for the rest of his career to appease fans and wrestlers? Every time he's in a title picture, does he have to apologize or rationalize his position on the card?...More?

Floyd Mayweather Scheduled to Wrestle at WrestleMania
Mayweather is scheduled to wrestle on the show, most likely in a tag team match. He is expected to team with Rey Mysterio (assuming Rey is healthy enough to wrestle) in a match against Big Show and a tag partner. The status of Mysterio's injury will determine who will wrestle in the Mayweather match.

Raw Preview - No Way Out Fallout
One Superstar who is WrestleMania-bound and has Orton in his crosshairs is Triple H. The King of Kings outlasted five fierce competitors to prevail inside the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out and earn a spot in the main event at WrestleMania XXIV. He left in his wake five battered and bloodied Superstars: JBL, Umaga, Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels and Jeff Hardy. Will The Game have anything to say about his return to WrestleMania and his Chamber victory?

Raw Elimination Chamber Results - The Game gets his title match at WrestleMania
Once again, the King of Kings proved that the Elimination Chamber is his playground. And he is its schoolyard bully.
For the third time in history, Triple H has entered “Satan’s Structure” and walked out victorious. This time, the 11-time World Champion leaves the 10 tons of steel at No Way Out with a WWE Championship opportunity at WrestleMania XXIV against former Evolution teammate, Randy Orton....More?

Austin: WWE not giving Flair sendoff he deserves
Stone Cold Steve Austin, who pitched a Rocky-like storyline for Ric Flair's final year with WWE, said last week that he hasn't been pleased with the angle thus far.
Austin laid out an elaborate scenario for Flair's last major run with the company following last year's Wrestlemania, but a revised, watered-down angle didn't take root until late November when WWE owner Vince McMahon announced that Flair would have to retire the next time he lost.
Plans for the original storyline called for Flair to either win the title for a 17th and final time before retiring, or lose in an emotional, competitive match for the gold at Wrestlemania 24 in late March. Flair, however, doesn't appear to be in the title hunt at this year's big show, and his most likely opponent for his final match appears to be Shawn Michaels...More?
