Cena cuts a promo on The Rock

From Kevin Eck of the Baltimore Sun:

Unless John Cena is trying to work some kind of angle, then his recent criticism of The Rock is way off base. In a story in The Sun (U.K.) yesterday, Cena called out The Rock for turning his back on the wrestling business.

“What I kind of get peeved about — and this is my Achilles’ heel — is that I've wanted to do this my whole life. At one point Rock loved wrestling and wanted to do this all his life. So explain to me why he can't come back."

First off, The Rock doesn’t have to explain himself to Cena. But that’s not the point. Like a lot of wrestling fans, I miss seeing The Rock in WWE, but I have never felt that he was dissing the industry or the fans...More?

JR Comments on Triple H

"HHH has never been any thing but professional with me since day one. That's being honest but I will assure you that someone will say, as you so inaccurately implied, that I am only saying that to "protect my job". I assure you that when I am out of the WWE it will have zilch to do with HHH. Plus, I happen to think my work is what keeps me on the payroll."

Big, Bad Clemens really feeling the heat

Roger Clemens was going to stare down the truth tellers, make them blink, make them cower with a look that would have left Ray Nitschke shaking in his cleats.

He smeared on his eye black, Clemens did, and figured that would be good enough to get out of one last jam. He's as big as Texas, after all, the biggest Longhorn there's ever been.

Instead he blazed a trail that could lead him to prison, and hardened the stereotype of the intellectually challenged jock along the way. In the long history of sports stars gone bad, only Pete Rose was this drop-dead dumb in defense of his legacy and name...More?
