Trish Stratus Opens Strastusphere Yoga
Seven-time former World Wrestling Entertainment champion Trish Stratus is no longer prowling the ring in search of opponents to pin to the canvas. These days, she's just north of Toronto, in Vaughan Mills, pinning clients to a yoga mat. This is, after all, the eve of the unveiling of her aptly named Stratusphere - a 5,200-square-foot complex devoted to the practice of the eastern art - which opens on April 26. It is the big-box suburban alternative to the downtown yoga cubbyhole...More?

Bay Area Greyhound Adoptions to Auction a WWE Belt
This in from Deborah Sandler of the Bay Area Greyhound Adoptions:
The Bay Area Greyhound Adoptions will be auctioning off a WWE championship belt at their spring picnic at Al Lopez Park in Tampa, Florida on Sunday, April 27th. The event is from 12 to 4 with the auction starting after 1pm. Cash Only.
By the way, Deborah made it very clear to me that she is not a WWE or wrestling fan; however they are auctioning a WWE belt. They may not be a fan, but they know where the money is.
Since greyhounds are fast, and could probably run from Florida to Maryland and bite me, I won't hold it against her.

Randy Orton and Umaga vs HHH and Y2J
Umaga comes out and he looks scary. He had his face half painted. Some girls in the front row had a sign for him so he was looking at it and then said: "Ohhh." Everyone around laughed. Randy had a great reaction. A lot of Randy Fans too. He posed for the crowd. Super cooky; Complete heel. Jericho had one of the pops of the night. He was smiling at the crowd. When Triple H came out, the roof almost exploded! Pop of the night. Jericho hit the Codebreaker on Umaga. After that Randy RKO'ed Jericho. Triple H hit the Pedigree (one of the highlights of the night) on Randy for the win.
Winner: Triple H and Jericho.
Triple H and Jericho posed in the ring with our flag for about 15 minutes. Jericho and Triple H greeted the crowd at ring side and then left.

Off the Turnbuckle: Some suggestions on how wrestling can improve
1. Get rid of ECW
2. Reassess the brand split
3. Go after Samoa Joe
4. Put the ridiculous storylines to bed
5. Give the wrestlers some time off
source: www.zwire.com
Dan Gilles titled his article 'Suggestions on how wrestling can improve', but he is only mentioning the WWE. I agree with the suggestions except for #3. I don't understand this affinity for Samoa Joe.

"Age of Orton" secure against fatal four?
WWE Champion Randy Orton will put the gold on the line at Backlash in a Fatal Four Way Match against challengers who have all held the title before - Triple H, JBL and John Cena. The match is unique in that Orton does not have to be pinned to lose his title, giving him just a 1-in-4 chance of walking out of Backlash still champion. Orton's fellow Superstars, and former opponents alike, all agree that the Fatal Four Way would normally favor the challengers, but as WWE.com found out, Orton's strategy in the ring may give him the edge.
