Circle of Champions: Triple H Grants Wishes in New Jersey
The Game said he is very proud of winning his 12th World Championship, but to be able to touch the hearts of kids is an accomplishment in itself.
“Winning the Championship is great and it means a lot to me. But on the flip side, knowing that I’m able to inspire youngsters on such a different level is the type of stuff that touches you on the inside,” The Game expressed. “As Superstars, we deal with injuries and traveling all the time due to our passion and desire to be champions. Also, we love our jobs even more because we’re able to go in front of kids and put smiles on their faces.”
Breaking News: Top WWE Raw Superstar Arrested
Mike Johnson of the Pro Wrestling Insider is reporting that Santino Marella was arrested a 2:57 am EDT this morning and charged with Driving Under the Influence.
According to Johnson, he was driving on Westshore Boulevard in Tampa, Florida when he was pulled over. Marella is currently being held in police custody on $500 bond.
Rocket linked to John Daly's ex-wife
The news for Rogers Clemens keeps getting worse. The New York Daily News reported that Clemens had a relationship with the former wife of golfer John Daly, Paulette Dean Daly. Citing several sources, the News said that Clemens made flight plans for Paulette Daly to watch him against the Angels. Paulette Daly admitted that she knew Clemens. "Yeah, I've known Roger quite a while and we are friends," Daly said. But when asked if she'd ever been romantically involved with Clemens, Daly told the News, "You know what, I'm really uncomfortable talking about this. Kaliqo's Commentary - Smarks Treading in the WWE Ocean Again
Jason Powell of prowrestling.net commented on the abrupt ending of Raw and the walk-off of Mike Adamle and Tazz on ECW. He states:
I still don't have a problem with the way Monday's Raw concluded. Yet after watching Mike Adamle and Tazz walk off ECW last night, the company is looking very desperate by doing shock angles on back-to-back shows. This might not be Katie Vick shocking, but the moves were clearly designed to get reactions out of the fans. The first one worked. Fans were very passionate about the conclusion of Monday's Raw. The second angle flopped...
While I don't have a problem with his opinion on the endings, the so-called "internet insiders" have been commenting for months that the WWE has become predictable. Creative doesn't come up with new story lines, etc. Well, they tried something different, and they still get criticized. Every story isn't going to work. Every story isn't going to make sense. But you can't criticize them for complacency and then criticize the effort as "desperate". The smarks want it both ways.
