Is the WWE brand extension over?
Something strange has been going on since WrestleMania in the WWE. Following WrestleMania, RAW, SmackDown, and ECW have featured wrestlers from all three brands. No angles, no explanations, yet all three brands have continued mixing following the usual WrestleMania blow off. Could the brand extension finally be over?...More?

World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE:WWE) today announced financial results for its first quarter ended March 31, 2008. Revenues totaled $162.6 million as compared to $107.4 million in the comparable prior year quarter. Operating income was $27.1 million as compared to $20.6 million in the prior year quarter. WWE Tryouts in New Zealand
Upon our Superstars and Divas’ return to New Zealand this June, WWE announces that the company, in conjunction with Kiwi Pro Wrestling, will hold invitation-only tryouts prior to June 11’s live event in Auckland, New Zealand.
WWE is looking for those individuals who have what it takes to become the next WWE Superstar. David Fit Finlay is like a fine wine or a select piece of cheddar cheese. He simply gets better with age. Finlay, 49, is one of the top stars on the WWE roster. When pondering wrestlers who made an impact over the long haul, Finlay does not come to mind, but he should. Andre, Flair, Hogan, Mascaras and Taker spent many years entertaining fans. Not to say Finlay is on par with them, but he has lasting power nationally and internationally, and that's not an easy thing to do, especially in a depleted overall industry. Rumor Mill - New WWE Drug Testing Policy
Several WWE Superstars are said to be unhappy about the new drug testing procedure that I reported on this morning. WWE got wind of people cheating tests by using a whizzinator (an easy to conceal urinating device with a realistic prosthetic penis). Therefore all collectors were fired for not monitoring more closely.
At last week’s TVs all Superstars were tested in front of a new crew of monitors and the rule is your have to be nude “from your ankles to your nipples” and be watched when you give a urine sample.
Afa Anoa’I Jr. was suspended for trying to cheat a drug test a few weeks ago...More?
