When Randy Orton met WWE Champion Triple H in a Steel Cage Match at Judgment Day on Sunday night, the Legend Killer had hoped to recapture the title and resuscitate the Age of Orton.
Unfortunately for Orton, however, The King of Kings pulled the plug on his plans...More?

Monday night, in the locker room area of Motown’s Joe Louis Arena, Make-A-Wish’s Justin Branch was acting like, well, a 10-year-old. The Bowie, MD, native was playing with his best friend, Julian Walters. The “True Champ” was in good spirits; only hours away from seeing Raw live for the first time and minutes from meeting his favorite Superstar, WWE Champion Triple H...More?

J.R. on Triple H & John Cena
In response to a statement JR made during a radio interview, he wrote the following on his blog:
"Why would I ever say that HHH and John Cena are 'pals' when they aren’t, but I also pointed out that both respected each other and that their 'competition' was healthy for the fans and for them? Sorry conspiracy theorists but there is no conspiracy here. These men are competitors, but they don’t 'hate' each other as best I know."

Kaliqo's Judgment Day Picks
Usually I post the pay per view picks of a writer that goes by the name of "Professor Wrestling". This time, I decided to post my own picks:
WWE Tag Team Championship Match: Miz and Morrison (c) vs. Kane and C.M. Punk
I still see the Miz as the jerk from The Real World. It's hard for me to take him seriously as a wrestler. However, I do like John Morrison. With more seasoning, I think he will do well. It would be a real boost to these two to go over Kane & Punk, but I think the latter will get the win.
WWE Women's Championship Match: Mickie James (c) vs. Beth Phoenix vs. Melina
Normally I don't pay any attention to the Divas, but I do like Beth Phoenix and Mickie James. I would prefer to see this match without Melina, but James and Phoenix should provide enough physicality to make it interesting. I think Mickie should retain the title with Phoenix chasing her for awhile.
Challenge Match: JBL vs. John Cena
I don't like either one of these guys so it doesn't matter to me who wins. Cena will probably go over JBL.
Challenge Match: Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho
Sleeper match of the ppv. Anything Shawn Michaels is in is awesome. It seems that HBK is become a tweener and if that's the case, he should go over Jericho, maybe with some interference to add an edge.
World Heavyweight Championship Match: Undertaker vs. Edge
Love the Undertaker, but with a reduced schedule, I think Edge will get the win. I sincerely hope the writers end the Edge/Vickie story. It has a high "yuck" rating.
WWE Championship Match: Triple H (c) vs. Randy Orton
I think the Hunter will retain the title. He will probably lose it to John Cena when Cena returns after filming his movie.

Charles Barkely's $400,000 Gambling Debt
Call him the Round Mound of Double Down. Cool Hand Chuck. Sir Charge. That in itself wouldn't be a particularly big story, but then he went seven months without paying it back. In this Barkley is not alone. Lots of Americans have failed to make payments on $400,000 debts over the last seven months. Only in almost all of those cases the debt in question has been a mortgage.
But Barkley's $400,000 I.O.U. isn't being held by Chase Home Finance. And he hasn't been victimized by the subprime lending scandal. The money is owed to Vegas casino mogul Steve Wynn. And even the billionaire Wynn, who famously laughed off putting his elbow through his own $139 million Picasso, might notice 400 grand if it's missing long enough.
The embarrassing news that the Clark County District Attorney's Office would be issuing a criminal complaint if Barkley did not make good on the markers he obtained last October prompted Sir Charles to announce, "I'm not broke."...More?

Montgomery gets 46 months in prison
Former 100-meter record holder Tim Montgomery's once-celebrated life continued its long downward spiral Friday when a judge sentenced the former Olympic champion to nearly four years in prison for dealing in fraudulent checks. The judge also warned Montgomery, 33, that the evidence against him "does not appear to be flimsy" in an ongoing case in the state of Virginia, where he is accused of selling heroin. A conviction there would carry a minimum mandatory five-year sentence.
"I've had everything I ever wanted in life," said Montgomery, who won medals in two Olympics and set a record in the 100-meter dash that was later erased because of doping - discovered during the U.S. government's investigation of the San Fransico Bay Area Laborotory Co-Operative (BALCO). "I've stood on the top of the mountain."
Now, he said, he's rooming with murderers and pedophiles in a Virginia jail...More?

John Cena gives his Judgments
First he told us injury and movie commitments would mean he was away from our screens for months – before returning less than a week later. Then he criticised The Rock for turning his back on a business he claimed he loved, fuelling a debate that went around the globe and led to Rocky getting his own back at the WWE Hall Of Fame. Now, catching up with Cena again, the world’s most prominent wrestler expands on what he told us and the fallout from it...More?
