Love Connection comes to EWA
EWAMaryland.com received an email today from the "Hottest Tag Team in Maryland" announcing that they will be having a special Love Connection at an upcoming EWA Event. While the team has revealed themself to the EWA Matchmaker (but we at EWAMaryland.com do not know who it is or if it is an EWA team, an MCW team or a team who wrestles for both), they want to keep their identities secret until the show. If any ladies are interested in trying out for this special, please email us at ewainfo@publicist.com for more information.

Mick Foley confirms possible departure from WWE
Mick Foley confirmed that he might be leaving the WWE at the end of his contract to The Long Island Press.

But at this point, there is a good chance, through mutual agreement, that I will not be renewing the contract," Foley said while leaving a phone message Thursday evening with the newspaper. "Creatively, the announcing job wasn't working out too well."

Former wrestlers suing the WWE?
From the 10-Q Quarterly Report filed by the WWE:
Levy et al.
On July 24, 2008, we were served with a summons from three of our former talent purporting to be on behalf of themselves and a class of similarly situated persons. The lawsuit alleges breach of contract and unjust enrichment arising from our treating them as independent contractors rather than employees, which the plaintiffs allege is an erroneous classification. We have not formally responded to the suit but intend to deny any liability for claims asserted against us and to defend vigorously against the suit.
TNA Impact Results 08-07-08
Kevin Nash walked out of the Impact! taping due to creative differences for the finish of the Gaunlet Match the aired last night. In addition, TNA creative wanted him to be eliminated during a commercial break. After seeing the match last night, I would have to agree with his complaints.
