Rumor Mill - WWE/Raven Lawsuit

The outcome of Raven's lawsuit against WWE, along with two other former unnamed stars, regarding breach of contract will likely depend on whether they are looking to make a payday or really change how WWE recognizes their talent.

It's a similar situation to Brock Lesnar's lawsuit with WWE, where he tried to get out of his 90 day no compete clause. WWE settled out of court so the judge couldn't rule and no legal precedent was set. If the judgehad ruled against WWE they would no longer be able to enforce that no compete clause.

If WWE settles out of court and pays Raven's "flock" a nice check, then there will again be no ruling or precedent meaning WWE can go back to recognizing their wrestler's as independent contractors and not employees, continuing to prevent them getting adequate benefits.

In the WWE 10-Q Quarterly Report, the lawsuit is listed as Levy, et al. "Levy" is Scott Levy also known as Raven.

Rumor Mill - Randy Orton's Accident

Many fans are speculating that the "Orton Accident" is a work and have written into wrestlezone.com with their opinions, which can be read here and here. My problem with this story is the distance Orton claims to have been thrown. I have been riding motorcycles for 15+ years and I don't see how he could have been thrown/rolled/bounced 300 feet when he was only going 30 mph. In addition, if you are trying to come back from an injury, why would you ride a motorcycle that you don't have much experience with? I guess anything is possible...

The mask is out of the WWE bag

After weeks of speculation, Kane finally revealed what was in his bag. New WWE RAW General Manager Mike Adamle ordered Kane to hand over the bag. Kane said the bag contained the mask of a man who has been tortured and disfigured beyond recognition. Who is that formally masked man?

The mask in the bag belonged to Rey Mysterio. The whole angle came out of left field...More?

This "unveiling" was a disappointment. I hope this isn't leading up to a Kane/Mysterio feud. I'm not a big Mysterio fan and I think they could use Kane better. Maybe putting him back with the Undertaker as The Brothers of Destruction or a feud with one of the younger guys.

“Rock shows and WWE events have similar atmospheres,” recalled Thorogood, an avid WWE fan for several years, who has attended several shows throughout his musical career. “I picked up a lot of show business tips by attending wrestling events, for instance, how to work a crowd.
