Mark Henry comments on the "Michael Hayes" Incident

The wanna-be TMZ's of the world lower the bar even further to get attention and people that can’t find enough negativity to fill the black hole in their own lives, continue to seek out even lower forms of Internet life. Those people need only to become wrestling fans.

Once they do, they can seek out Internet sites like Dave Meltzer's that features commentary from a middle aged, overweight, silicon-laden troll whose only real talent was converting her willingness to being passed around by wrestlers as a party favor into a paycheck more than a decade ago. Or worse yet, that headlines bogus "divorce stories" as breaking news only because they didn't bother to do a basic public records check beforehand. They can then subscribe to his 345,000+ word weekly assault on grammar that attempts to be the arbiter of an industry he’s never been directly involved with for "inside information".

Kudos to Eric for the Metzler bashing.

Killer Kowalski Update

1Wrestling.com. is reporting the "Killer" Kowalski remains in serious condition after suffering a severe heart attack last Friday. He was not expected to survive through the evening. Kowalski was briefly non-responsive, but by Saturday he was responsive to those around him. Kowalski was briefly taken off life support on Saturday, and his heart kept beating on its own. However, he went back on life support by Sunday evening and at last word is in a coma state.

Eric Bischoff comments on the WWE/Raven lawsuit

"WWE is now a publicly traded company. It is responsible to its shareholders, and therefore must react to market conditions and influences much differently than when it was a privately held company. While the Chairman can stack the deck with a Board of Directors and executive management team that looks more like a friends and family reunion than anything else, should the IRS determine that WWE’s contracted talent are employees and not independent contractors, there is the potential for significant fines, expenses and cost of doing business on a go-forward basis that could have a serious negative impact on WWE stock."

"On one hand, every talent that performed with WWE knew exactly what they were getting into when they signed on. Its not as if there was some master plan that was designed to take advantage of them. My guess is that they are in a desperate financial situation and found some equally desperate lawyer to take a run at this issue in the hopes of collecting a payday."

Chris Jericho Hosting Fuse Reality TV Show, Shame 2 Fame

The New York Post is reporting that WWE Superstar Chris Jericho will be hosting a new reality TV show for the Fuse TV network titled "Shame 2 Fame."

According to the Post, the show will follow ten troubled women who will be competing for a "last chance at musical stardom." The winner will get a record deal and the chance to make a video to air on Fuse. The contestants on the show will include drug addicts and women with criminal records. The show is set to debut on Wednesday, October 29th.

Rumor Mill - WWE/Raven Lawsuit

The outcome of Raven's lawsuit against WWE, along with two other former unnamed stars, regarding breach of contract will likely depend on whether they are looking to make a payday or really change how WWE recognizes their talent.

It's a similar situation to Brock Lesnar's lawsuit with WWE, where he tried to get out of his 90 day no compete clause. WWE settled out of court so the judge couldn't rule and no legal precedent was set. If the judgehad ruled against WWE they would no longer be able to enforce that no compete clause.

If WWE settles out of court and pays Raven's "flock" a nice check, then there will again be no ruling or precedent meaning WWE can go back to recognizing their wrestler's as independent contractors and not employees, continuing to prevent them getting adequate benefits.
