Q&A with Royce Gracie
Royce Gracie, whose father and uncles founded Brazilian jujitsu, is known as "The Godfather of Mixed Martial Arts."
Gracie was handpicked by his brother, Rorion, to fight in the first Ultimate Fighting Championship in 1993 because a then 26-year-old Gracie didn't look like much at a slight 175 pounds. Gracie would go on to defeat opponents outweighing him by at least 20 pounds to win three of the first four UFC titles.

Find the fan in you
Another must read by Steve Anderson of wrestlezone.com:
...I’m not touting a Pollyanna-like view of the industry. But what’s wrong with just enjoying a match without attaching judgmental stars or thumbs to them? What’s wrong with pumping your fist in the air or giving a standing ovation to a great match? Just enjoying the business for what it is. You know, like we used to.
There are times when you can see the visceral disgust that some writers have for the industry in their writing. When a wrestler dies, it is the industry’s fault. When Phil Mushnick writes an uninformed diatribe lacking the facts, they embrace it. Talk about someone who has an ax to grind...More?
I couldn't agree more with this article. It amazes me that some of the "wrestling journalist" obviously don't like the industry and/or the players in the industry that they write about. It might be called sports entertainment, but which word is bigger?

An honest interview with 'eloquent and reflective' Triple H
As the father of two young daughters Aurora Rose (now two) and Murphy Claire (born July 28) -- you'd think sledge-hammer swinging Paul Levesque may have softened up a bit.
But the seven-time world heavyweight champ that fans have come to love as Triple H isn't afraid to come out swinging when it comes to talking about some of the kids in the wrestling business, guys who want to become stars...More?

SmackDown House Show Highlights - Rockford, IL
John Cena, CM Punk, and Triple H vs. JBL, the Great Khali, and William Regal.
Punk out first to a huge pop when Chimmell announced he was from Chicago, Illinois. Then out comes Cena to a louder pop yet, and the loudest pop of the night for HHH. Not quite sure how Regal got into this match. Cena and Punk each get beat down until HHH comes in. Finish seems Cena and HHH hitting their signature moves, and HHH covering Regal for the win...More?
