Washington, DC artists producing wrestling comic book
Nerds vs. Jocks! Bullies vs. Misfits! The Weak vs. The Strong! Everyone loves a good underdog story...SO LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE! BAMN gets it's title from it's embittered main character. Surly, washed-up former pro-wrestler Bamn has spent the dying years of his career throwing up in bars. He lives out of his car and uses stolen credit cards to pay for beer. A chance encounter with, a pair of local high schoolers, Art and Ian, brings him to the FWF, a "Backyard Wrestling Federation" run by the two young fans. Bamn is a proposed 6-issue, comic book series.

Outing Shady Indy Promoters
From Bill Behrens:
Several recent reports here at Wrestlezone.com exposed the false promoting of Kevin Nash by a promoter in W VA. Kevin Nash is no longer being promoted for the 10-9 XWE event, and the promoter is offering refunds. Hopefully, that is really the case.
The reports also noted monies owed to wrestlers by other West Virginia promoters, $650 to Kip James by Gary Damron of All-Star Wrestling and $300 to Elix Skipper by Dennis Richardson who calls himself "Shady".
These are not the only promoters out there who owe wrestlers money...More?
and this from Steve Anderson:
Far be it from me to write a column based on another column, but I just can’t resist.
God bless Bill Behrens.
No, I’m not getting all “Shawn ‘Souldier’ Michaels” on you when referring to my new hero. But Bill is doing this business perhaps the greatest service of all. Exposing those slimeball, low-level wrestling promoters for what they do and who they are. Ne’er-do-wells who are nothing but toxic to the independent wrestling scene...More?
