The RAW main event a few weeks back with DX reuniting to take on Lance Cade and Chris Jericho going into No Mercy did a 3.67 rating and added 858,000 new viewers to the broadcast. The rating is nothing special regarding other main events for the year, but it's good compared to recent months and shows strong growth.

'Million Dollar Man' finds it all in Jesus
People snicker about the authenticity and even the sanity of professional wrestling, and Ted DiBiase freely admits his character was pure fluff and the luxuries he enjoyed were handouts from his bosses.
But there's no doubting the reality of DiBiase's faith in Jesus Christ. In fact, his messages to two packed morning worship services at Union Hill Baptist Church in Holts Summit, Mo., earlier this year were as blunt as a body slam...More?

UFC boss sets mob drama at Spike
Men's cable network Spike TV has put a hit out on the Irish mob, ordering a two-hour drama pilot that will shoot in Boston this fall.
The film is the brainchild of Dana White, the president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and the host of Spike's series "The Ultimate Fighter." White said he came up with the idea about three years ago and brought Chris Bertolini ("The General's Daughter") on board to write the script...More?

Chris Jericho morphs into Mr. McMahon
As an admitted longtime Jerichoholic, I am entertained by just about anything that involves Chris Jericho. As far as last night’s Raw, however, while there was nothing wrong with Jericho’s performance, his character’s story line certainly won’t get any points for originality.
With Raw general manager Mike Adamle absent from the show because he supposedly was in meetings with Shane and Stephanie McMahon, Jericho was left in charge for the night. Predictably, Jericho abused his power by trying to screw over his chief rivals, Batista and Shawn Michaels. It’s an angle we’ve seen hundreds of times...More?

J.R. and Arn Arnderson comment on the Triple H-Jeff Hardy No Mercy match
From J.R.'s blog:
"HHH-Jeff Hardy had a great wrestling bout at No Mercy...one of the I have had the privilege of calling in years. Both men came out of the match the better. Awesome counters and classic strategy."
Arn Anderson to Hunter after the match:
"That's why you are who you're are."
At WWE No Mercy, Triple H and Jeff Hardy showed how to have the perfect match
It's the simplest story in the wrestling business - and one that has kept punters hooked for more than a century. In one corner the fan favourite, the beloved grappler who despite his popularity and success has never quite reached that brass ring.
In the other, the wily champion - a man who feels he has a God given right to be the world champion and carries himself and the title in that manner. And the beauty of what Jeff and Hunter did is that as the match went on you really believed this could be the night the challenger scored the upset.
They didn't need any gimmicks, run-ins or weapons - just some innovative moves, cool counters and a flair for storytelling few possess.
Triple H proved he’s in the spot he is not through family connections or backstage politicking – but by being among the very best champions in the history of the business and a match for any of his boyhood heroes like Harley Race and Ric Flair...More?
