Ric Flair has signed an independent trading card deal with baseball card company Donruss, which will see Flair get his very own autographed Ric Flair Trading Card. The company commented "We are extremely excited to be bringing the hobby the first certified autograph cards from one of the most famous professional wrestlers of all time."

Jimmy Valiant says Wrestling is a "Life Sentence"
Wrestling legend Jimmy Valiant gives his take on 'The Wrestler' in an interview with www.wdbj7.com:
"It's like a life sentence, you can't walk away. Yes, I identify with Mickey. He can't walk away. It's the only thing he knows how to do. It is the whole life. I give it thumbs up. In other words, I give it five suplexes, and that's the highest rating in professional wrestling, five suplexes."
Valiant adds he was offered a cameo role in the film, but declined due to a scheduling conflict.
