A-Rod tested positive for steroids in '03

Sports Illustrated says in a story posted on its web site that the New York Yankees star tested positive for two anabolic steroids. SI cited four unidentified sources.

SI reports that Rodriguez's name appears on a list of 104 players who tested positive for performance-enhancers in a 2003 baseball survey.

MLB's drug policy has prohibited the use of steroids without a valid prescription since 1991, but there were no penalties for a positive test in 2003. The results of the survey testing were meant to be anonymous under an agreement between the commissioner's office and the players association...More?

Ric Flair Signs Trading Card Deal

Ric Flair has signed an independent trading card deal with baseball card company Donruss, which will see Flair get his very own autographed Ric Flair Trading Card. The company commented "We are extremely excited to be bringing the hobby the first certified autograph cards from one of the most famous professional wrestlers of all time."

Jimmy Valiant says Wrestling is a "Life Sentence"

Wrestling legend Jimmy Valiant gives his take on 'The Wrestler' in an interview with www.wdbj7.com:

"It's like a life sentence, you can't walk away. Yes, I identify with Mickey. He can't walk away. It's the only thing he knows how to do. It is the whole life. I give it thumbs up. In other words, I give it five suplexes, and that's the highest rating in professional wrestling, five suplexes."

Valiant adds he was offered a cameo role in the film, but declined due to a scheduling conflict.
