Lucha libre fans are in for an adrenaline rush early next year when the World Wrestling Federation, the largest wrestling corporation in the world, will bring their team of professional fighters to Peru for their popular SmackDown show.
According to the WWE’s official site, SmackDown is taking their most famous wrestling team on the road, heading down south to Lima, Peru on February 21 at the Estadio Nacional. SmackDown is distributed internationally in the United Kingdom, Peru, Spain, Ecuador, Chile and more.
The February 21 live show will feature wrestlers Triple H, The Undertaker, Edge, Jeff Hardy, Big Show, Mr. Kennedy amongst others.

FoxSports.com on Jericho Incident and Info from WWE Stars
Fox Sports website filed a report on the Jericho incident that was very much slanted toward the girl who from all videos I saw initiated the situation. The story leads with:
"Think pro wrestling is fake? Tell that to 20-year-old Ashley Levey."

Bill Behrens of wrestlezone.com spoke with other WWE stars who were at the show and they report that fans were surrounding wrestler cars as they tried to leave, beating on the cars with their fists, and that as in the situation with Jericho, the security was doing nothing.
One wrestler said "never leave the car....that was the mistake Jericho made"

Interesting Note on John Cena's Career
In the latest WWE Magazine, there is an article that says 49% of John Cena's career has been spent holding a WWE championship. Since Cena debuted 2,428 days ago, he has held the WWE Title, the World Title, the US Title and World Tag Titles for a total of 1,179 days.
No mention of him "holding back talent" or "using backstage politics to keep his spot"

Mickey Rourke won a BAFTA award (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) for Leading Actor in "The Wrestler." Rourke's biggest nomination is coming up on Sunday, February 22 at the 81st Annual Academy Awards for "Best Actor in a Leading Role."
