Date Set for Linda McMahon's Final Vote to Clear BOE Hurdle
WWE CEO Linda McMahon's nomination to the Board of Education will be voted on by the Connecticut House of Representatives on Tuesday, Feb. 17th. McMahon passed the Senate by a 34-1 vote. The one dissenter labeled the WWE as "barbaric".

Former Minn. Gov. Jesse Ventura says he wonders why the federal government has not indicted Major League Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig after 104 players tested positive for steroids in 2003.

"In the early '90s, the federal government came into pro wrestling and tried to put Vince McMahon in prison for steroid use of wrestlers. My question is: They've now determined 104 baseball players failed their steroid test in 2003 - 104. They indicted Vince McMahon, why aren't they indicting Bud Selig?" Ventura asked. Mick Foley's Nixed Sitcom: Who Wanted Out?
More details have surfaced concerning the dropping of the Mick Foley sitcom project that we reported on earlier in the week. "Have a Nice Day," which was originally proposed to star Foley and a former Survivor cast member, was recently nixed when Foley decided he wanted out of the project. Lost Colony Entertainent, who was set to produce the show, had this to say on their myspace page.
