Levy & Klucsartis ask the Court for Another Shot at the WWE
Two of the three wrestlers, whose lawsuit against World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. ("WWE") was dismissed late last month, have asked a federal court to reconsider the matter and give them another opportunity to plead their case against the WWE.
In a motion to alter/amend the judgment filed late Wednesday (download available here), Scott Levy and Christopher Klucsartis contend that the court should have allowed them to raise claims under the federal law regarding employee benefits (ERISA), after the court made its initial ruling dismissing the matter. They also contend that they should be allowed another opportunity to raise certain state law claims with additional facts.
WWE will have until the end of March to respond to this latest motion and a decision from the court can be expected no earlier than mid April 2009...More?

Nicolas Cage speaks on "The Wrestler"
Access Hollywood conducted an interview up with Nicolas Cage at this link where he talks about how he wasn't dropped from "The Wrestler" film despite reports stating otherwise.
Cage said, "I wasn’t quote ‘dropped’ from the movie. I resigned from the movie because I didn’t think I had enough time to achieve the look of the wrestler who was on steroids, which I would never do. The movie was written for Mickey. And, for whatever reason, they couldn’t get the financing for the movie back then."
