Extremely Focused
Steve Austin Interview
Stone Cold comments on his Hall of Fame speech:
"I’ve been trying to come up with a speech," he continued. "I’m so thrilled and excited about this. But going up there and talking about myself the real person, not 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin the wrestler, is a whole different ball game. You wouldn’t think that Stone Cold, the character, would ever get emotional, but I am a pretty emotional person... Wrestling was a large part of my life, and it’s hard to draw one straight line, or one train of thought, through it. So I’m going to make the best of it and just wing it."...More?

Shawn Michaels says WrestleMania 26 will Probably be his Last
Highlights of an interview Shawn Michaels did with Chicago rock station Q101 as reported by prowrestling.net:
When asked about his last WrestleMania he said he feels the NEXT WrestleMania will be his last, as his contract will expire about then. His sons have started to take an interest in him as opposed to their mom and he wants to take advantage of that. He says he will probably be back in the WWE when they become teenagers and think that he is a "dork and don't want to hang around with him anymore."
Says his last several WrestleMania post plans are always the same. He goes back to his hotel room with his wife and kids and order a pizza and watch cartoons. He also mentions he eats a ton of chocolate chip cookies and cheese cake as he has a sweet tooth.
When asked about his first meeting with Vince McMahon, he said it was after the Rockers were in the WWF for a few days and they go involved in a bar fight. Vince went up to him and said "Nice boots. They look like they were made for walking...so hit the road your gone."
When asked which Superstar had the worst BO he said Vader. When asked which Diva he wouldn't want to be married to, he said Melina because of how she screams. His most embarrassing moment was at a house show when he ripped his pants right by his butt and he didn't have anything on under his tights. Triple H had to go and get duct tape to fix them during the match.
Booker T States Recent WWE Actions has "Restored his Faith"
Booker T posted the following message on his Legends of Wrestling Fanfest website:
A few days ago I sent a letter to the wrestling world explaining my anger and remorse at how I felt the WWE handled the situation regarding their abrupt pulling of several invited guests to the Booker T. Legends of Wrestling Fanfest. Within minutes of the letter being posted, we received hundreds and hundreds of e-mails showing your support of the Fanfest. It appears that the WWE got the message as well, as they have since allowed a true living legend Jimmy “The Mouth of the South” Hart to rejoin the Booker T. Fanfest on tomorrow, Friday, April 3, 2009 here in Houston, Texas. This action restores my faith in the WWE and I’m grateful that they reconsidered. I want to thank everyone that has supported me and remember, if you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything. Thanks again, and I’ll see you at the Fanfest!

More from Triple H at the WrestleMania XXV Press Conference
Highlights from an Interview with
Mickie James
Ken Hoffman of The Houston Chronicle recently did an interview with Mickie James to hype WrestleMania 25. Here are some quotes:
Typical day: "My typical day is very regimented. I drive from town to town if I can. I'm a night driver. I will drive the 200 or 300 miles to the next city. So I don't get to bed until 3 or 4 a.m. most nights. Then I get up at 11 a.m, checkout time. I go to a Starbucks, because I'm addicted to their coffee. Then I find a local gym and do my workout."
Working out: "I take a lot of showers during a typical day. After my workout, I start preparing myself for the show that night. I will grab something to eat. Genetically, the women in my family were blessed with voluptuous figures, so I have to work at keeping my weight down. I eat high protein and low carbs."
What she does after arriving at the building: "I show up at the building in a dress or a suit. So once I get there, I have to start getting ready all over again. I get my ankles taped because I sprained my ankle recently. I have bad knees, too. I'll put on my tights and try to work out a little in the ring before they open the doors for the fans."
What she does on her days off: "I get my nails done. I get a pedicure. I make time for these things. I put away time to see my family and take care of my dog and my horses. I know how to burn the candle at both ends. It keeps me grounded."
Why she puts up with all the negatives of the business: "Because I truly love what I do. The moment I stepped in the ring the first time, I loved it. I can't imagine doing anything else. Very rarely do people get a chance to touch so many people's lives like we do. That makes me feel so good. I get chill bumps every time. So what if I don't get to eat pizza or chicken wings or my favorite cheese fries? It's worth it."

Booker T Threatening Legal Action Against the WWE
The following statement was issued on the official website of Booker T's upcoming Legends of Wrestling Fanfest in Houston, TX this weekend:
I want to take this opportunity to let the entire wrestling world understand both my frustration and anger, at what should be a momentous time for myself and those close to me...We suffered a setback recently when the WWE unexpectedly pulled eight of the invited participants from our Fanfest. Each of these participants had already either gotten clearance from WWE or were not previously contacted to appear in any Wrestlemania weekend activitie s this year. It was only after we published the list of participants, that the WWE unlawfully interceded and deceptively worked to pull these talents from our event. As a side note, I have contacted legal representation about this deceitful tactics and will weigh my options. I do want to sincerely thank each of the pulled participants for their interest in helping to make this Fanfest the best ever, and I hold no malice towards them...I want to believe that the WWE, as large and as powerful as it is, would be beyond examples of such pettiness. This event, as well as the PWA, are supporting the Fights for Kids foundation so it consumes me with remorse to see the WWE act in this fashion. Make no mistake however, I have been an underdog my entire life, so I have no problem in taking on yet another Goliath. And we all know what happened to Goliath, and I know you can dig that...
