The wrestling world has always been a place where dreams can become a reality. In the heyday of Hall of Famers such as Jackie Fargo, Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Dick The Bruiser, ect these dreams were sought out by performing their crafts in different territories throughout the country.
Will wrestling territories ever come back? Maybe. With today’s competition and this “dog eat dog” way of doing business it’s a wonder why a lot of these small time promotions are still functional. Any mark out there with internet access can take a look at what is happening backstage by logging onto certain internet dirt sheets. It’s no wonder why the mystical veil of wrestling has been ripped down, and why the impact of that has caused attendance to local promotions to drop down...More?

Rumor Mill - WWE Resigns Chris Masters
Chris Masters has been cancelling his indy bookings and telling those promoters that he is going back to WWE and going right back on television as opposed to developmental. He was backstage at the RAW and SmackDown events at the Staples Center last week and looked to be in good shape. There’s no word on which brand he will be returning on. Masters, 27, has been gone from the company for a little under two years, and has been wrestling overseas a lot since then.

This Day in Wrestling History
Kerry Von Erich is involved in a motorcycle accident in Argyle, Texas, crashing into the back of a police car while trying to pass a truck on a two-lane highway while wearing shorts and no shoes. Von Erich suffers a dislocated hip and a severely damaged right foot and undergoes over 13 hours of surgery. Von Erich would later have the foot amputated, but returned to the ring with a prosthetic foot and continued his career. To this day, there is no definitive answer as to whether Von Erich lost the foot at the time of the initial surgery, or had it amputated later (with some even saying it was removed after a failed early comeback attempt did further damage to it). Von Erich and his family would claim he had his ankle fused to account for the lack of mobility in the foot, and it was not until after his death that his family would admit that he was wrestling without a foot (although in one Las Vegas match, his boot was pulled off accidentally, and several fans saw that he had no foot).

Ric Flair vs. Randy Orton Raw 06/01
I don't know about you, but this was hard for me to watch. Flair really looked out of place and showed his age. I also think it does a disservice to Shawn Michaels and the WWE. They gave him the ultimate send-off and Monday night added some tarnish to it.

ECW Results: Dream Big
Moments after Dreamer thanked the WWE Universe, promising he’ll return next week as the new ECW Champion, and Swagger boasted he’ll once again hold the ECW Title because Dreamer is grasping at the little bit of glory he thinks he still has, ECW Champion Christian was victorious over Tyson Kidd. (WATCH) As Natalya and David Hart Smith lurked at ringside, watching their fellow Hart Dynasty member battle Captain Charisma, Swagger emerged to view the match. But Dreamer also appeared, knocking “The All-American American” and David Hart Smith to the ground as Christian and Kidd continued their conflict in the ring. The ECW Champion hit Kidd with the Killswitch for the victory, but as Captain Charisma celebrated the win, Dreamer shook his hand, then DDT’d him, much to the WWE Universe’s surprise. Full results.
