Ring of Honor Sues Ric Flair
According to pwinsider.com, Ring of Honor has filed a lawsuit against Ric Flair, alleging that Flair owes the company over $40,000. The suit was filed this past Thursday in Bucks County, PA.
ROH says that Ric Flair was signed to make five appearances for the company, at $10,000 per appearance. Flair did not make the appearance in Montreal in July of 2009, and failed to repay the $10,000 that was paid to him for the event. Also, the suit alleges that Flair came to terms with the company to appear in an authority figure role on the ROH TV show. Flair was paid $35,000 for the TV appearances and only made one appearance. The second taping is when Flair showed up, and made a brief announcement to the crowd that he was resigning due to his relationship with WWE.
The belief was that Flair was going to use his relationship with ROH so that his son Reid could work there and continue his pro wrestling education. Those plans never happened, due to Reid being arrested on several drug charges last year. At this time, ROH has made no official comment on the deal.

SmackDown Results: Whirlwind Before the Rumble
With Luke Gallows and recently inducted Straight Edge Society member Serena lurking at ringside, Triple H triumphed over The Second City Saint, though not the way he may have intended. As The Game was setting up The Pedigree, Serena and Gallows attacked, causing the official to call for the bell. Once the trio had secured their post-match advantage, they tried to cap off their assault by shaving Triple H’s head. But HBK swiftly arrived to even the score and DX cleared the ring of Gallows. When they turned their attention back to Punk, however, the “Straight Edge savior” suddenly pulled Serena in front of him in order to save himself. Full results.

Q&A with Sheamus
Last year at this time, WWE superstar Sheamus was still learning the ropes and training at Florida Championship Wrestling, the company's developmental group in Tampa, Florida. But a lot has happened since then for the muscular, pasty-skinned Irishman with fiery red hair.
First, he got the call he'd been waiting for and was brought up to the main WWE roster last June. Once there, he quickly stood out and became a breakout star. It only took six months before he was in the main event of a pay-per-view. That was last December where he defeated John Cena at Tables, Ladders and Chairs to become the WWE Champion.
This Sunday, Sheamus will once again be in the main event as he defends the WWE Championship against Randy Orton at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. FanHouse spoke with Sheamus about his recent success. Click here.
Update on TNA iMPACT! Airing on Mondays
It looks as if Spike TV may have jumped the gun on TNA iMPACT! moving to Monday night. The Spike TV website had iMPACT! scheduled to air on Monday March 1st at 9PM. But now the date has been changed, and it now reads as TBD.
Universal Studios updated the TNA schedule on their website. They replaced the March 8th and 9th tapings with March 1st and 2nd. Apparently the move to Mondays is not written in stone.

Recap of "State of TNA Address"
WCW Is Back And Its New Name Is TNA
Earlier this month, something happened in the world of professional wrestling that hasn't been seen in something like a decade: Two competing wrestling companies actually went head-to-head with their television programming on a Monday night.
For one night in January 2010, the "Monday Night Wars" of the 1990's were back. But wait — it gets even better. Between the two Monday night wrestling shows — WWE's Monday Night Raw and TNA's Impact — the names involved read like some kind of sports entertainment time warp.
TNA's three-hour extravaganza not only marked the return of Hulk Hogan, but also names like Ric Flair, Eric Bischoff, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Sean "X-Pac" Waltman, and the Nasty Boys.
Raw countered with the return of Bret "Hitman" Hart, who hasn't been seen in a WWE ring since Vince McMahon screwed him out of the world championship twelve years ago in a rare, real-life incident fans still refer to as the "Montreal Screwjob."...More?

More on Jericho/Helms Arrest

WWE Superstars Results: Rumble on their Mind
Chris Jericho appeared on “WWE Superstars” this week, and proceeded to talk himself up in his typical fashion. As the condescending Superstar claimed that he would be the one to win the Royal Rumble Match he was interrupted by his SmackDown rival, R-Truth. The rapping Superstar disputed Jericho’s claims at greatness, instead insisting that he would not only win the match but also be the one to eliminate the long-winded braggart. R-Truth then backed up his claim by chasing Jericho from ringside. Full results.

Update on Chris Jericho & Hurricane Helms; Matt Hardy Also Involved?
The entertainment news website TMZ.com says several people were in the cab with Helms and Jericho when things allegedly got violent and that cops tell them Helms struck three people -- including Jericho, a man and a female passenger.
Police say Helms ran away but later came back. He admitted he'd had a lot to drink in a short time.
No one wanted to press charges for the fight. But police say the two wrestlers were too drunk to let go. Both men were released on bond...More?
