Warhead Proves to be Deathproof
Kurt Angle Injury Update
Kurt Angle worked this week's TNA iMPACT! tapings but it's said he clearly wasn't at his best. Kurt is battling back and calf injuries and was telling people at the tapings that he's expecting to work a lighter house show schedule. Angle has recently asked for a lighter schedule from the company. Some in TNA feel that it would be right to write Kurt off TV and give him more time off to heal from his injuries. Friends of Angle's say that he's struggling physically more than usual right now.

WWE Pay Per View Changes
Aside from scrapping the Survivor Series event, wwe.com has updated the pay-per-view lineup:
Backlash is no more. WWE's April ppv will now be Extreme Rules on APril 25th.
With Extreme Rules moved to April, a new ppv event will debut on May 23rd called "WWE Wild Card."
The Bash is also gone and has been replaced with "Fatal Four Way" on June 20th.
WWE's Night of Champions ppv, which used to take place in July, has been moved to September. The July show is now titled "Money in the Bank" and will take place on July 18th. This could mean there will be no Money In The Bank match at WrestleMania this year.
Summerslam will take place on August 15th.
Night of Champions will now take place on September 19th.
Hell in a Cell will take place on October 3rd.

WWE Changes A Mentor For NXT
WWE has removed MVP from the list of pros mentoring for the NXT show and has been replaced by William Regal. Regal will now serve as the mentor for Skip Sheffield.

SmackDown Results: Awakening The Deadman
In his first singles match since winning Royal Rumble, Edge took on the angry Animal, Batista. At first, it looked as though Batista was simply going to walk away from the bout – much like he did in his WWE Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match against CM Punk two weeks ago. However, The Ultimate Opportunist chided The Animal into staying for battle.
When the match carried on, it looked like the Rumble winner had The Animal right where he wanted after a well-targeted spear. However, before The Ultimate Opportunist could capitalize, The Deadman came calling, viciously chokeslamming Edge. The assault was in retaliation for being speared by Edge last week. Full results.

Ed Harris to Star with Randy Orton in 'Big Red'
WWE Films are trying their hand at a family drama titled Big Red and have hired the one and only Ed Harris to star in the film along side Amy Madigan. As is usual practice for all WWE Films productions, the wrestler cross this time will be Randy Orton. The plot of the film according to Variety is as follows:
Set during the mid-1960s, about a bright 12-year-old boy whose English teacher (Harris) pairs him up on a project with the school’s biggest outcast and social pariah, Stanley (“Big Red”). When Andy watches Stanley fearlessly confront a school bully, a series of events is unleashed that changes the lives of the boys and their teacher.
Madigan will play the school’s principal, while Orton portrays the father of the bully who campaigns to get the teacher fired...More?
