Parker Posey Comments on Triple H's Role in "Inside Out"

In “Inside Out,” Posey plays Claire Small, the wife of high-strung, low-level mobster Jack Small (Michael Rapaport). However, she has never stopped loving her former beau, AJ (Triple H), a parolee determined to go straight after serving 13 years for the murder of his abusive step-father.

“Our characters were all friends in high school,” she said. “Basically, Triple H went to jail and Michael Rapaport moved in on him. I was alone, but I still have feelings for Triple H. My husband wants to continue in the criminal world, but Triple H learned how to make pickles in prison and wants to capitalize on that.”

While the premise sounds humorous, Posey said the film helps display a number of sides of the former WWE champion.

“He’s a sweetheart,” she said. “He just looks like the Incredible Hulk. His first film was with me in ‘Blade: Trinity.’ I look forward to seeing what kind of career he has.”...More?

EVP of WWE Studios Comments on "Inside Out" and Triple H

Mike Pavone, executive vice president of WWE Studios, is serving as producer on the film. Pavone said New Orleans provided a great place to shoot the company’s slate of six films.

“New Orleans has always offered terrific incentives,” he said. “It’s a great city that embraces film making. They want us to be here and that makes it very comfortable for us.”

Pavone said New Orleans can also provide a number of different looks. Film crews have already made the city look like Oklahoma and California. Pavone said “Inside Out” is a New Orleans-based movie so “we can see the city and show it off.”

“Algiers, a nice residential area right outside of New Orleans, also afforded us a great look,” he said. “We don’t build a lot of interiors on stage because our budgets don’t afford it. We have to use a lot of practical locations.”

Pavone said Triple H plays a character that is “fairly intense.”

“He’s a terrific actor and has been a joy to work with,” he said. “I like working with athletes a lot because their training and mentality is different. The WWE superstars are really dedicated and show up on time, ready to go.”

Assault Allegations Rejected Against Former WWE Diva

TMZ has learned former WWE star Chyna will not face criminal charges over an alleged incident in which she allegedly beat the daylights out of another woman in a motel room in L.A.

Chyna was named in a criminal complaint filed by a woman named Gabriela Targos -- who told LAPD cops that Chyna battered her so badly back in April ... she thought she was gonna die. But now, the L.A. City Attorney has officially rejected the case, claiming there's "insufficient evidence" that can prove Chyna carried out the attack.

Christian Says TNA Run Was Just A Break From WWE Grind

WWE wrestler Christian said in an interview promoting this weekend's house show tour in Canada that his stint in TNA was a mere break from the WWE grind.

"The day that I left the WWE, I always knew when the time was right that I was going to go back," Christian told the Times & Transcript newspaper in Moncton.

"I started on the road when I was 24, and I was on the road for eight years straight without a break. I was physically and mentally a little beat up, and just kind of needed some time away to heal up and have a little time for family and unwind and live like a normal person for a little while."...More?

Remembering Kinji Shibuya: 'Bad Guy' In The Wrestling Ring, Gentle Soul Outside It

In today's sports world, the name Kinji Shibuya may not ring a bell, perhaps not even in the corner of a contemporary pro wrestling ring.

But for those who remember the bygone era of the immensely popular Big-Time Wrestling Cow Palace shows or those wild, live Friday night in-studio telecasts on KTVU-Channel 2 in the 1960s and '70s, there may have been no more recognizable sports personality on the Bay Area sports scene than the evil Kinji, the massive villain everybody loved to hate.

Shibuya wrestled against and with most of the greats of his era — Pat Patterson, Pepper Gomez, Mr. Saito, Ray Stevens, Haystacks Calhoun and many more — and took a back seat in popularity to none of them, nationally as well as regionally...More?

Beth Phoenix Comments on her Injury

"Two weeks ago on Superstars, I had a match against new SmackDown Diva, Rosa Mendes. During the course of the match I was able to reverse an Irish Whip into the corner and counter Rosa with an Up and Over maneuver where I jump out of the turnbuckle, over her and show her what The Glamazon is made of. However, when I landed, feet side by side, as I have thousands of times over the course of my career, my left knee buckled to the side and I heard a very distinctive, "Crunch.""

Beth revealed she suffered a bruised bone, torn & displaced Meniscus, a sprained MCL and a torn ACT. She was advised by doctors to get surgery and will be going under the knife this coming Tuesday in Alabama with Dr. James Andrews. She will be out of action for several months.
