With Money in the Bank just weeks away, Jack Swagger sent a strong message to World Champion Rey Mysterio by locking him in a lethal ankle lock and refusing to let go. Charisma with a Chokehold

“There is nothing else I ever wanted to do. As a kid I watched our shows and Dad as commentator. I was studying it. Nowhere else can you truly do everything you want to do in life in one company – we have a film division, PR, marketing, TV studio, create storylines, shoot, I’ve been on camera, I’ve performed in story lines, that’s how I met my husband, and we have dot.com, technology."

“The creative and entertainment side of our product has always been attractive to me. You come up with a storyline and you can create it and implement it in one week. There’s no bureaucracy. There is one key decision-maker, one head writer, and that’s Vince. It’s a unique and incredible opportunity for anyone who works here. I’m honored to work here.”...More?

WWE Superstars Results: Peep Showcase

The attention grabbing young team of Curt Hawkins & Vance Archer have been making serious waves on SmackDown in recent weeks, but tonight Hawkins had to get through the electrifying Christian. The former World Tag Team Champion may have all the talent in the world, but beating a veteran like Captain Charisma is easier said than done. And despite his aggressiveness and will to win, Hawkins simply couldn’t stop the offensive onslaught of the leader of the Peeps. After tonight’s impressive victory, Christian can now set his sights on the big SmackDown Money in the Bank Ladder Match on July 18. Full results.

GOP Defends Linda McMahon Running for Senate

Republican Party leaders in Connecticut are defending U.S. Senate candidate Linda McMahon's record as CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment, saying the controversy surrounding steroid use among wrestlers is an old story.

National party Chairman Michael Steele on Thursday mocked a question about whether McMahon's ties to Stamford-based WWE could prove embarrassing. He accused Democrats of going after McMahon on wrestling issues because they have nothing else.

Steele appeared at the state Republican headquarters in New Britain with state chairman Chris Healy. Healy says WWE has "learned lessons" about steroids and started a testing program.

Interview with Greg "The Hammer" Valentine

Greg Valentine said he probably has worked his last match. He wishes two of his graybeard peers still appearing for TNA Wrestling -- Flair and Hulk Hogan -- would do the same.

"I don't think Ric should work anymore," Valentine said. "Eventually, he might end up get hurt bad. I know Hogan has had hip surgeries, and now he's having back surgeries. It is financial (why they're still wrestling). It hurts me to see that."

After his injury, Valentine said his income was slashed in half because he was forced to miss bookings and autograph-signings while recovering. But he recently received good news. Valentine said WWE has plans to release his autobiography and DVD of his best matches.

"When I hurt myself last year in Chicago, I felt maybe God was telling me to finally quit," said Valentine, who became a born-again Christian in 2002. "He's taken care of me when I was thinking, 'Where am I going to make money?,' and this and that. I've been blessed since this accident."...More?
