Though “The All-American American” ultimately escaped the wrath of his gigantic attacker, he soon found that he could not elude the uncontrollable fury of Kane. Full results.

Chris Sabin Thinking Gold Heading Into Victory Road

When he started working for TNA Wrestling seven years ago, Chris Sabin envisioned himself as a singles wrestler as most guys do. He had already been doing that for various independent promotions and then excelled in TNA's X Division, winning that championship four times.

But things took a different turn for him in 2007 when he began pairing up with Alex Shelley as a tag-team. The duo is still together as the Motor City Machineguns and have become one of the most dynamic teams in all of wrestling...More?

Ric Flair Bout to be Pinnacle of Jay Lethal's Life

Jay Lethal is 25 years old, not married, and without kids. So he can say with confidence that Sunday's match against Ric Flair at TNA Victory Road will be the greatest night of his life.

"So I don't have that wedding date or that anniversary locked away in my head," Lethal told SLAM! Wrestling. "The dates that I do have, December 7, 2001, which is the day that I started wrestling; there's April 29, 1985, which is my birthday, and in a few days, I'm going to add July 11, 2010, Victory Road, to that list, because that's the day that I'll have the greatest moment -- not of my wrestling career, but of my life, when I step into the ring with one of my idols, Ric Flair."...More?

Update Regarding Triple H's Surgery

According to the Wrestling Observer, Triple H underwent surgery to repair a torn muscle tendon in the arm. Apparently this is an injury sustained outside of the squared circle. The recovery time is a few months, which would prevent his planned Summerslam return to face Sheamus.

WWE Superstars Results: Double Trouble

Kelly Kelly has scored victories over Layla and Michelle McCool in recent weeks, but tonight she took on both of the self-proclaimed co-Women’s Champions with her pal Tiffany watching her back. As expected, both the SmackDown beauties brought all of their spunk and athleticism to the ring, but Team Lay-Cool’s mean streak was too much for the beautiful Divas to overcome. With the referee distracted, McCool illegally nailed Kelly with a brutal kick to the head, allowing Layla to score a tainted victory for Simply Flawless. Full results.

TLC's Chilli on Possibility of Hosting WWE Raw

Chilli joined The Big Mosh, Jimmy Noonan, & "The Chairman of the Board" Todd Vincent for an exclusive interview on "Your Home of Wrestling Radio":

Whether Chili has been approached to guest host WWE's Monday Night RAW and the relationship that her & her son have with World Wrestling Entertainment:

"That could happen. I would love for that to happen, and if I was to guest host, I'm telling you it would be so much fun. The matches would be very exciting & fun, and the WWE Universe would absolutely love it. Because I see some people on there, and I'm like 'How did this happen?' You could tell they're not true fans, and I am a true fan, and people are so surprised, but I love my wrestling. When they (the WWE) come to Atlanta, my son & I are always there. We even travel sometimes to go to some of the Pay-Per-Views."

Does Batista Deserve Lesnar Comparisons?

Assuming the reports are right, UFC 116's viewership pattern provides all the explanation needed for Strikeforce's interest in former pro wrestler Dave Batista.

Strikeforce met last month with Batista about the possibility of an mixed martial arts bout. CEO Scott Coker sees a parallel between Batista and Brock Lesnar, the Ultimate Fighting Championship's heavyweight titleholder.

"Look at Brock Lesnar," Coker told Sherdog.com last week. "He made the crossover. Why not Batista?"

Like Lesnar, Batista became a marquee name in World Wrestling Entertainment's choreographed shows. And like Lesnar, he wants to try his hand at real fighting.

But the similarity ends there...More?

Hayhurst Updates Triple H Story

After his story was picked up by various wrestling sites, Dirk Hayhurst has backed away from his reports concerning Triple H having surgery:

Thanks for supporting me Garfooslings, but if I wake tonight via a steel chair to the face, & a top rope take down, I might not feel so good

I saw a cool yet mysterious figure in the training room. I signed a book for him. It was cool. That is all. This message will self destruct

Folks I feel terrible. Social Media just bit me in the @ss. Almost wish I hadn't seen a celeb today. Gosh I hate this feeling. Sorry all.

He has deleted his previous tweets.

Rumor Mill - Triple H's Status

Dirk Hayhurst, injured pitcher for the Toronto Bluejays, posted the following on his twitter account:

Guess who I just singed a book for... Triple H of the WWE. Seriously, I just found myself next to him on a training table. Wow, Surreal

Actually, I didn't ask him anything. He look tired and it's best to leave large, powerful men alone when they are tired. I wish him well.

HHH was alert enough for me to ask him a question. I gave him the most important one I could think of: "Where do you think Lebron will go?"

I did not get a pic, he was a tad out of it, fresh out of surgery so I didn't want to hassle him. Besides, photo's in hospitals are no no's.

Dirk said he was on a training table next to Hunter, and then he implied that Hunter had just gotten out of surgery. Doesn't make sense to me...
