Corleone Character a Big Hit for Jindrak in Mexico
Marco Corleone, formerly WWE's Mark Jindrak, is one of the central characters on ``Lucha Libre USA: Masked Warriors,'' a new pro wrestling show seen 10 p.m. EST/PST Fridays on MTV2.
After being released by WWE in 2005, Jindrak contemplated a different career path. Going to Mexico changed his mind-set, and after starting as a rudo (bad guy), he became a big star as a technico (good guy).
``I started off as a rudo in Mexico,'' Corleone said, ``but because of my physical appearance [6-6, 260] and my style of wrestling, the Mexican fans fell in love with me. You have to listen to the people. If they want you to be a rudo, then you're a rudo. If they want you to be a technico, you're a technico. I'm a technico. People like me.''
``Sometimes when I go back to the United States, I almost feel like a foreigner,'' he said. ``I'm here in Mexico, and I enjoy it. In all shapes and sizes and forms, I'm an ally of Mexico. I love the Mexican culture...More?

A Look Back At The Brawl To End It All
The Brawl To End It All - a battle between WWF Women's champion The Fabulous Moolah and Wendi Richter. The event, broadcast live on MTV, marked the beginning of the Rock 'n' Wrestling Connection that would catapult Hulk Hogan into an uncharted stratosphere of fame for a professional wrestler. The woman at the center of the hoopla, the event's most important participant, wasn't even participating in the match. Pop star Cyndi Lauper, a newcomer on the road to winning the next year's Grammy for Best new Artist, was in the corner of the challenger, cheering her on to defeat a champion who had held onto her belt for nearly 30 years.
With Lauper managing Richter and Albano managing the legendary Moolah, the match was high on spectacle but low on real wrestling, especially by today's standards. After pushing Richter into the corner face first, Moolah planted Richter's shoulders to the mat with a reverse sunset flip. Unbeknownst to Moolah, whose shoulders were pinned to the mat, Richter lifted her right shoulder up before the three count. Only when the ring announcer proclaimed that Richter had won the match did people realize that history had been made...More?

The Ultimate Warrior and Randy Savage Action Figures at SD Comic Con
Today at the San Diego Comic Con, Mattel announced that both the Ultimate Warrior and Randy Savage had been signed by the company to be part of their WWE Action Figures line.
The announcement that Savage would be part of the line got a huge ovation at the event. Of course, the "cold war" (other than last year's DVD release) between Savage and the WWE has gone on for years (for whatever reason), and this would be the first Savage action figure since the early 90's when WWE was working with Hasbro.
Given the demand over the years for Randy Savage action figures, this is a huge score for Mattel and shows how seriously they are taking the WWE line.
