Triple H is Thor, Or Should Be

Regardless of not being cast as Thor in the upcoming movie, this photo is definitive proof that Triple H is actually the son of Odin, big, muscled, blond, hammer, lightning, Thor!

Playing 'The Mighty Thor' in the new movie is Chris Hemsworth. If he looks familiar you may have seen him in the first five minutes of the last Star Trek movie. Or perhaps you're an Australian with a soap opera addiction, regardless of how you know who Chris is you probably never looked at him and thought; 'Whoa that guy looks just like Thor!'

Because he doesn't, Chris is a former daytime actor who looks like a Calvin Klein underwear model. Nothing about the dude makes me wonder if he carries a Mjolnir or smites his foes with lightning. Even after seeing him in his Thor getup I am less than convinced. Small hands, skinny forearms and airbrushed biceps do not a Norse god make.

Triple H deserves to play Thor and the producers would have saved money by hiring him because he can do his own stunts. Say what you want about the WWE but professional Wrestlers are highly trained stuntmen who are good at taking physical punishment and selling fake blows.

For the naysayers who say Triple H can't act I say so what? Thor isn't exactly spitting out poems in Old Swedish every other page. In fact most of what Thor does say is pretty direct in the comics, mostly consisting of single words and exclamation points...More?

A Best-in-Class Entertainment Stock: WWE, Still King of the Ring

When it comes to live entertainment, there is only one rock solid company that continues to pay an eye-bulging 8.8% annual dividend to its loyal fans and shareholders. What is that company, you ask? Not Live Nation (LYV) and not Warner Music Group (WMG). It's none other than World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

This year, first quarter revenue leaped off the ropes 28.7% and net income clothes-lined the analyst estimates with a 140% rise in net income. We highlighted that traditionally WWE is a very catalyst-driven Q1 company; however, 2010 live and televised events are seeing a non-traditional steady uptick...More?

THQ Working On Yet Another WWE Based Franchise

THQ knows who's buttering its bread -- the publisher revealed to CVG that, in addition to its currently announced titles, it's got another World Wrestling Entertainment franchise up its sleeve.

The title will be a fresh game on top of the other franchises previously revealed: WWE Smackown! Vs. Raw, the arcade-style WWE All Stars, and the free-to-play Smackdown! Vs. Raw Online. Online, however, will only be available in Asia; there's no Western version planned at the time. However, those in the West will get this mysterious new game, which Bilson says is "less simmy" than the Smackdown! Vs. Raw titles, closer to the fast-paced arcade style of WWE All-Stars...More?

Dawn Marie Responds to Allegations of Corruption

On behalf of myself, the Wrestlers’ Rescue organization, and the many volunteers and donors, I'd like to strenuously deny and condemn the false and baseless defamatory statements currently circulating concerning an alleged investigation and corruption in Wrestlers' Rescue. Not only are the accusations false they contain no merit and they are disrespectful to the volunteers who have invested their time, energies, and hearts into helping former professional wrestlers in need.

I am currently weighing options for an appropriate and comprehensive response. When I have decided on my best course of action, as well as exploring legal options on behalf of both myself and Wrestlers’ Rescue, I will address all allegations...More?
