Former WWE Women’s Champion, Mickie James was victorious in her return to Maryland Championship Wrestling last night.
The Diva-turned-country singer defeated rookie, Mia Yim, with a DDT according to @FutureDivaSarah on Twitter.
The match was sort of a ‘full circle’ moment for James, who at the beginning of her career a decade ago, wrestled for MCW under the name Alexis Laree. Meanwhile, for Yim, the match marked the end of her rookie year in the industry.

WWE Event in Sydney Does Close to $1 Million Gate
According to Jim Ross on his official Twitter page, WWE's event in Sydney, Australia earlier today drew close to a $1 million gate at the Acer Arena. Click here for a recap of the show.
Former TNA Star and Others Begin Working with FCW
Austin Watson, formerly TNA tag title co-holder Consequences Creed, debuted at the sold out FCW live event this Thursday. He was the tag partner of NXT’s Percy Watson in a losing effort against Donny Marlow & Brodus Clay.
There was also a segment hosted FCW Divas champ Naomi Night, who introduced the following five talents to the FCW Universe:
Rhys Ali – New Zealand’s Reon Mahima comes to FCW where he worked using his real name.
Shane Godwin – West Virginia’s Shane Canterbury is the son of Mark Canterbury. Mark is best known as former WWE tag champ Henry O. Godwin.
Phil Friedman – Is a former IFL MMA fighter turned wrestler. He has a classic wrestler look that reminds me of the legendary Joe LeDuc.
Fady The Arabian Bull – Hailing from Patterson, NJ and having Syrian heritage, Fady was a main eventer for New Jersey’s IWF.
Celeste – One of the newest divas signed by the WWE. Celeste was recruited out of Texas.

SmackDown Results: Throwing Out the Rules
Kane revealed that The Undertaker is finally showing signs of recovery by talking for the first time in two months. In a bedside discussion, Kane said his brother told him it was Rey Mysterio who attacked him.
After the stunning news, The Big Red Monster recalled how Rey Mysterio won a SmackDown Battle Royal and qualified for the World Title Match at the Fatal 4-Way pay-per-view. Kane claimed it all made sense that it was Rey who wanted Undertaker out of the way, so that he could win the Battle Royal and advance to Fatal 4-Way.
Full of rage, Kane said Mysterio will cease to exist after he beats him at SummerSlam and stuffs him in a casket. Full results.

NFL Star Plans To Go Into "Ric Flair Mode"
According to a small blurb by The Baltimore Sun, Fabian Washington (cornerback for the NFL's Baltimore Ravens) has stated that he is going into "Ric Flair mode" this season. Washington explained he would always be wired, exciting and planned on borrowing Flair's identity.
