A WWE spokesperson contacted the Orlando Sentinel Tuesday to dispute elements of the ABC News Nightline story and a blog in the Orlando Sentinel, which referred to the ABC story, about former WWE CEO Linda McMahon.
The blog referred to the lack of adequate steroid testing and the ABC story referred to the lack of health care and penchants for former wrestlers, both of which the WWE spokesperson disputes.
Robert Zimmerman, Vice President of Public Relations and Corporate Communications, said the WWE does have an abuse and drug testing policy. After a 10-year absence, the WWE reinstated drug testing in 2006 under the umbrella of the Talent Wellness Program.
The Talent Wellness Program provides some medical services for current wrestlers under contract, but they are expected to pay for any non wrestling related health care services...More?

WWE Spokesman Says ABC News Nightline Story Had Inaccuracies
Triple H Note
A Dot Net reader is reporting that Triple H was backstage at Raw last night. Not sure how they would know that, but I'm desparate for Hunter info.
Interesting Linda McMahon Note
Should Linda McMahon win the U.S. Senate race, she would become Connecticut’s first female senator and the 39th woman in history to serve the U.S. Senate.
Another Raw Guest Host Revealed
WWE announced that actor Justin Long will be hosting the September 16th edition of Monday Night Raw.
Long's Going The Distance co-stars will be joining him as Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis will serve as guest hosts also.
WWE has also removed celebrities Penn and Teller from the upcoming Raw host listing. The duo was scheduled to host the September 20th episode of Raw, but apparently that hs changed. The only hosts listed after the cast of Going The Distance is Bobb’e J. Thompson on October 18th and Toby Keith on October 25th.

TV Ratings Info for WWE's WrestleMania Special
WWE's one-hour WrestleMania XXVI special finished last among all network prime time programs. The show featured the spectacular Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels match and a recap of WrestlMania Week activities. The show averaged 1.78 million viewers, but probably would have done better with more advertising from the WWE and NBC.
