McMahon Celebrates Birthday After Debate With Blumenthal
The priority of course, the positive results of the seemed-to-be-a-draw debate against formidable Democratic candidate and Attorney General Dick Blumenthal.
And then there was that other reason, her birthday. "I'm 62 today," said McMahon, who wore turquoise cashmere for the first televised debate between her and the power-red tied Blumenthal. "It's the new 42."
Staff and family, including daughter Stephanie McMahon -Levesque (wife of wrestler Triple H) headed to the dressing room after the hour-long debate televised on FOX CT.
There was a quick rendition of "Happy Birthday " to the candidate who eventually headed out for dinner at Max Downtown with friends and family, including mom, Evelyn Edwards, who also attended the debate.

Blumenthal, McMahon Trade Jabs at Conn. Debate
The two nominees for Connecticut's U.S. Senate seat, held by retiring Chris Dodd, are taking aim at one another's recent TV ads.
Republican Linda McMahon says her position on the minimum wage has been misconstrued and Democrat Richard Blumenthal says his rival's latest criticism of his military record is not new.
Monday marked the first face-to-face debate between the two candidates.
Just hours before the live, televised debate, McMahon released a TV ad featuring clips of Blumenthal appearing to suggest he served in Vietnam rather than stateside as a member of the Marine Reserve.
Over the weekend, Blumenthal began airing an ad that suggested McMahon would be willing to lower the minimum wage to help struggling businesses. McMahon says she was only talking about future increases.
