USA Network Looking to Bring Back WWE Tough Enough

It was back at the beginning of the decade when the WWE decided to try its hand in reality television with the "Tough Enough" show.

Now it looks like the show is about to make a return.

Deadline Hollywood is reporting that the USA Network is close to ordering "Tough Enough" in an effort to make a big push in reality programming.

The show originally aired for three seasons on MTV from 2001-03 before being canceled. It lasted one more season as part of "SmackDown" on UPN before it ended.

"Tough Enough" featured participants -- both men and women -- going through wrestling training in hopes of winning a WWE contract. Each had to learn how to take bumps, do moves and also learn to be a character including how to cut a promo.

Among the people that took part in the show are current WWE superstars John Morrison and The Miz as well as announced Josh Mathews.

The belief is that the show would air at 11:00 p.m. ET on Monday nights, immediately after WWE "Raw" on USA.

Eric Bischoff Supporting Linda's Senate Run and the WWE's 'Stand Up For WWE' Campaign

Go Linda! Good for Vince!

I don’t blame him for wanting to use his platform to activate WWE fans and speak out against some of the mainstream media b.s. that has been flung at Linda McMahon and the WWE.

Linda’s opponent and his surrogate campaign staffers over at MSNBC, have used their “news” format to trash a woman who has raised a family, overcome financial challenges, and helped build a billion dollar industry that is weathering the financial bon-fire that her challengers predecessor, Chris Dodd provided the lighter fluid for with his role in the disastrous bail-out debacle...More?

Chris Jericho Criticizes The Rock for Turning his Back on Wrestling

The Sun newspaper in the United Kingdom has released the second part of their interview with WWE Superstar Chris Jericho in which he criticizes The Rock for turning his back on the wrestling business: "The Rock is a great guy, he's a great actor, he was great wrestler — one of my favourites — but I don't understand why he doesn't want to come back to the show once in a while."

Jericho went on to reaffirm his passion and pride for the wrestling industry and said "I never want to hide my wrestling background. I'm very proud of it, and if it wasn't for that I wouldn't be where I am today doing all these other great things.

"Whatever I do, I'll always do it with the utmost respect for WWE and always be the ultimate company man when it comes to promoting the business."...More?

Necro Butcher Eight-DVD Set Extensive and Exhausting

Perhaps Ian Rotten, face soaked in blood after a Home Run Derby Death Match, said it best: "Never in my life, in my career, have I ever seen an individual like the Necro Butcher. Insanity? Yeah. Craziness? Yeah. Bottom line -- toughest son of a bitch in the business."

Hailed as a "deathmatch wrestling God" by hardcore wrestling fans around the world, the legendary Necro Butcher's career has been immortalized in an eight-disc DVD set, aptly titled, Deathmatch Legend: The Ultimate Necro Butcher Collection, released by HighSpots...More?
